He didn’t have guys running wide open at Wyoming either. The kid had to throw into tight windows. The Windows will still be small in the NFL but having Benjamin and Clay as a safety net will help his development.

I love the way this team is being built. All of these guys are going to represent the city well. I love that blue collar and talented guys like Trent Murphy are choosing to come to Buffalo. This team is going to be very tough to beat especially at new era field.

That is our secondary’s specialty. Darnold vs Allen is going to decide this division for a long time. I hope we got the better guy. I will say that Rosen’s post draft interview was pretty embarrassing. He might have trouble leading an NFL lockeroom. I was pretty high on him after watching film, but I am fine rolling the dice on Allen now.

Well he improved both drastically at the senior bowl. Lets hope that continues. Bottom line is if Dabol is a good OC he will find a way to develop Allen. He has the best skill set of any QB to come out of the NFL draft, he is very raw though.

This could be the draft that brings this franchise back to being dominant

Its hard to judge his first step because they had him playing nose. It will be interesting where the Bills line him up. I hope Kyle teaches him everything he knows haha.

Wow what a pick!!! This guy is so underrated. Don’t be surprised when he is the second best DT in this draft. He was my favorite pick in the second round and we got him in the third.

Benjamin is healthy, Jones is in his second year, and Kerley. Don’t be surprised when they add another vet/rookie.

Honestly I give them credit. I am very conservative with my QB rankings. They took the biggest boom/bust project in the draft. If they hit Allen will be an absolute steal at pick 7.

The thing about Allen is we have never seen a prospect like him before, which makes him very difficult to evaluate. His arm talent is unbelievable, I can't even believe he threw 72mph. Darnold was around 52mph on the same program. I am definitely for giving him a redshirt year though. All the talent is there but he slowly needs to learn how to process the game better. His accuracy is actually really good on his first read. What happens is it goes down when the pocket breaks down and he get sloppy with his footwork. I think this could be correctable. I think the biggest question for him is can he process the game and find the correct WR to throw to in the NFL.

I was pretty upset about the pick at first. Especially since the Jets got Darnold. I rewatched Allens Senior bowl this morning and it did give me some hope. Positives on Allen: 1) Competitive and tough 2) Insane arm strength 3) Very good athlete for his size 4) Good accuracy on 1st read 5) Played in a pro-style offence 6) Is able to throw with touch at times Things he needs to work on if he wants to be our franchise QB: 1) Understanding the blitz and hot reads 2) throwing with more touch on short throws 3) maintaining good footwork on second and third reads for more consistent accuracy 4) hanging in the pocket longer to buy time for the WRs If he can improve those four things we will have a special QB.
