  1. Yikes, that’s about the same amount of time you would have if there was no oline. Until the oline proves it can block we should go with Peterman. He might hide some deficiencies by getting it out quick.
  2. Doubt it, the pressure was right up the middle. One of the worst interior performances I have seen.
  3. He throws one ball that could be a pick six every game. Other than that he plays pretty well. I am happy with him as a long term back up though.
  4. I don't understand why they are gifting Ducasse and Miller starting spots.
  5. Miller, Ducasse, Mills, and Clay don't deserve roster spots.
  6. One of many starters being outplayed by the backups today.
  7. If he doesn’t play well then they will probably start Peterman or McCarron week 1. I think Allen is ready, it would not surprise me at all if he had an outstanding game. Or Allen could just play great and we could beat a bunch of those teams the first four weeks. If we are going to hope for something it would be that.
  8. So true, he had the hardest tape to analyze too because he had no talent around him. The talent he had to work with was much weaker than his competition. He was one of the highest pressured QBs in the NCAA because of his oline and always had to throw into tight windows because of his WRs. Allen had the most wow throws in tape, great athletic ability, and he did show a good grasp of a pro style offence. Working with Palmer was amazing for him because it was the first time he had real coaching. You could see he improved a ton at the senior bowl. I remember watching the game thinking maybe everyone is wrong about Allen (myself included, I was very worried about the completion percentage). All I can say now is thank you Wyoming for hiding such an elite QB prospect. If he had any oline at all he would have went first overall. So far in the preseason he has shown elite traits (pocket awareness, arm strength, accuracy, command of the huddle, quick release, and quick decision making). Right now it is looking like Allen vs Darnold will be the future of the AFCE. I’m glad we have Allen because I think he is going to end up being better.
  9. He would fit the culture McDermott is trying to build
  10. I agree with this. I would not be surprised at all if he gets traded for a second. It will be hard for any team to fit his salary under their cap.
  11. I'm confident he would pick us if he has a choice.
  12. I would be willing to offer Lawon and a first for Mack and a third. That is as far as I would go, we would most likely lose KB, Clay, and McCoy (after this season) if we took on that contract. There is only so much room in a salary cap.
  13. Macks contract is going to be crazy. I think that decreases his value a lot. It’s difficult to build a good team when you have to invest a lot in a non QB.
  14. I doubt it. I think he could even be had for a second with the contact he wants. If you take his contract out of the equation he is probably worth two firsts. But I think the contract will decrease his value a lot. We do have a lot of cap room next year so we could put most of that into Mack. I would want their second as well. That could be a potential deal though.
  15. Mack would be a process guy. With that contract it would be hard to offer a 1st though.
  16. I think you need to educate yourself on other teams defensive rosters.
  17. I think as long as Allen plays well this week it is his job.
  18. Or maybe Josh is actually good and we are the good team. I know he will develop more by playing against the best.
  19. Josh can handle himself. He played with much more pressure due to a terrible oline at Wyoming.
  20. His adjusted completion percentage is 75%. Thats the number that matters.
  21. I think they will figure out the run D this week
  22. It’s funny but a good punt may be the difference in the game. Should be a defensive battle.
