    Most NFL QBs miss 60% of their deep throws. He missed that throw by a yard. His ball placement was fine all night. Foster probably should have brought in the other two deep balls.

    Aj does not have this job locked up. If Allen plays well against Carolina he will get the first team reps the following week. I'm reading between the lines of the press conferences but I believe that is the plan.

    I think the Bills keep 5 WRs and go heavier on RB and TE positions.

    I can envision that happening. I think KB will be an absolute monster in the slot. Coleman could have a similar role that Cooks had last season.

    You won't find a higher upside player in those rounds, I have no problem buying low on a guy. Hopefully, it is another Jordan Poyer situation.

    I still think he has potential to be a Golden Tate type of WR. At least we have a deep threat in the WR room now.

    It could be another Jerry Hughes type trade for us.

    I think if Allen plays well against Carolina he will be given a chance to start week 2 of the preseason. If he plays well again he is the opening day starter. He has been the best QB in training camp so far by the sounds of it.

    It will be interesting to see how he looks in preseason. New England usually keeps a lot of RBs. I wouldn’t be surprised if Daboll wanted 5. McCoy, Ivory, Cadet, and DiMarco are locks I think. There may be another spot for Murray, Jones, or Ford. Also so what did you think of Allen? I know you do extensive studying of QBs in the predraft process.

    That is great to hear. This team may be a nice surprise this year. Did you notice that Ford kid? He looked explosive on the highlight on the Bills homepage. We should be able to run all over the Chargers D. Minnesota has a great run D, if we can run on them we can run on anyone.

    Nope he is more of a Stevie Johnson type. He has been the most reliable target on the third team by far.

    Phillips, McCloud, and Foster have looked good. Maybe the Bills want to see what these young kids have to offer before overpaying for a declining vet. Also, it sounds like Mills and Miller are playing great in camp. I am more worried about Ducasse and Bodine/Groy.

    I believe you learn by playing and not practicing. If they understand the offence and most NFL defences throw them in the deep end and see if they can swim.

    Allen is very natural stepping up in the pocket. One of my favorite traits to see in a QB.

    I’m excited, if the play calling is as good as I think it will be we will have a solid offence this year. We may end up being a middle of the pack offence and not an anemic offence like all the national media is predicting.
