The composition of the draft and their draft position should allow them to replace whatever they have to give up.

I don't think Kareem Hunt will ever play another down in the NFL. The video will live forever, and people will be told what to see by whoever is showing it to them. When a victims advocacy group or a women's rights group is showing the video, people will see a man kicking a woman who is already down. By the way, Danny's definition of kick is "to strike, thrust, or hit with ones foot." There is no team in the NFL that will be willing to take the public backlash, lost season ticket holders, lost luxury box revenue, and lost sponsorship/advertising revenue associated with signing Hunt. The actual cost of signing him might exceed $100 million. Kim Pegula is not the reason that the Bills won't pursue Hunt. I think less than 5% of GMs will even bring the idea before ownership (just those that are extremely secure, and those that are extremely desperate) and Beane is not one of them. Ownership of any team will likely think less of any GM that does want to pursue Hunt, because it indicates that the GM just doesn't get the business side of the organization. I think coaches can get away with expressing interest. Their job is to win, and they see a player that might help them accomplish that. I will be surprised if we hear any discussion above that though.

I've seen him ranked between 10th and 13th in the league by various sites, but he'll be coming off a broken leg. I'm guessing he'll get something in the 8 to 11 million/year range, but I would be mildly surprised if it was over 10 million/year. The salary info below (for centers) is from overthecap.com. The jump pass technique might not be the footwork that we'd like to see, but he is fun to watch.

In the absence of a strong OLine, FBs, TEs, and creativity become a little more valuable.

I'm not sure that Wyoming's OLine helps this chart very much. In fact, the effect of the OLine might matter less in these stats. Since it limits the analysis to teams that you can get into the red zone against, being overmatched by an Iowa, Oregon, or Nebraska defense should be mostly removed. On the bright side, folks wanted to see evidence that he dominated lower level competition, and I think this stat provides some evidence of that.

I had been thinking that the graphic was presenting passing stats, but your comment makes me think that running plays might be also be included. If so, the stat includes at least a rough measure of his combined passing and mobility, which seems tough to quantify.

Surprising to see Josh wearing #7. I would have expected either 17 or 56. Anyway, it was great to get an early look at the new offense. Lots of 2 TE sets, I like it. And the OLine looked terrific, no worries there.
