EXACTLY why I think Beane blew the '18 draft. -Rd. 1
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to #34fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we have one of the better HC's in the NFL. I think McD will have the team in pretty good shape by the end of pre season. I'm excited for the season to start. -
Start Allen from Day 1/ QB competition

I personally like the way Peyton Manning was brought into the NFL as a rookie. Let him be aggressive and throw the ball downfield and learn from his mistakes while learning the speed of the NFL. Now if the O-Line looks really bad then put AJM in there, no reason for the QB to get beat up. If the O-Line is playing solid and Allen beats out AJM in the preseason he should start. -

If Allen outplays AJM in pre season he should start. AJM can get you wins and is a solid QB that can have a season like Foles if he has the same talent around him. If Allen can beat out AJM and is named the starter for week 1 that would be the ideal beginning to his career. -
RD1, Pick 7: Josh Allen QB - Wyoming
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mine was Mayfield and Darnold with Falk as my late rd pick that could be a sleeper. Getting a rookie with size, arm, mobility and intelligence is a solid pick. I have said befor if he can fix his feet and accuracy he could easily be the best QB from this draft. -
I can see us playing a lot of nickel formations, we have a stronger front 4 and a lot more safety depth.

Bills Post Draft OL depth
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to RocCityRoller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Patriots don't draft O-line because they teach everyone how to hold without getting caught. You dont need elite O-Line talent when you do that. I've rewatched the super bowl 5 times and the offensive holding that both teams get away with is the most that I have seen in any Super Bowl. -
Does Doug Whaley Get Hired This Season?
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is the worst QB evaluator that I have ever seen. He made a few good trades but that's it. He will never be a GM again in the NFL and I am still amazed he was with the Bills as long as he was. I wanted him fired after his 2nd year. -
Allen is a much better QB than his stats say. I've been watching a lot of his games and it's easy to see that his WR's get zero separation. The O-Line also had some very bad games. At the very least we have a big, strong, mobil QB that can clean up his footwork and be a better than average QB.

How many Wyoming players will be drafted?
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Nick Foles has proven that without a talented roster he is a low tier backup. I think the Saint have done an excellent job of surrounding Bree's with good offensive talent. The Saint also know that Bree's likes to step up into the pocket when he makes his throws. They always have a very strong interior O-Line. If you put Bree's on the Bears I don't think he even passes for 3,000 yards. If a good college QB plays for a big name school that has a spread offense his completion % and overall offensive numbers will skyrocket. If Allen played for the Cougars for three years I highly doubt he is a Buffalo Bill right now. -
I'm liking the defense

You can never have enough pass rushers, I would move Lawson to DT in nickel packages. -

He has nobody to ask for help either because there are no Jewish all star football players. I remember watching air plane and the old lady asks for some light reading material and the stewardess gives her a leaflet of famous Jewish sports legends. -
I love Elizabeth Shue, I would've put so much effort into a relationship with her.

When I watch him I feel like he can command and move a offense. Allen needs to work on a few things like all the rookies do, I think with good coaching and a offense that fits the things that he does well that he will succeed. I think if he was the Eagles starting QB that he would be very successful in his rookie year. Beanies main job will be protecting Allen and getting him offensive weapons. His WR's get zero separation, it looks like they run a lot of curls and comeback routs. I'm sure that's by design because of his amazing arm strength. When a guy gets open on the comeback he fires a laser in there that looks to be undefensible. I think if you put him on the Cougars for three years that we would have no chance to draft him at 7.

You guys lost to Nick Foles in the Super Bowl, that one will at least be good for 10 years.

Allen Over Rosen Reminds Me of

I agree, I remember yelling at the TV about both of those picks but I don't feel the same way about the Allen pick. I just get the feeling he could develop into a good starting QB. Im going to watch more of his games tonight and this weekend, I will say it's a lot harder to evaluate QB's from smaller school's.
