As long as The Bean has a good draft I will be happy. I think we will be fine either way as long as we hit on our draft picks. I think Luke Falk might be the best QB from this draft.
This contract means nothing, he will make 10 million more when he is traded. The Eagles don't have the cap space to keep him, I'm close to 100% sure that he will be traded on draft day.
Russ " the Weasle" Brandon is getting paid by the Patriots under the table to keep this team down. Just his presence and input will make good decisions into poor ones. The only reason Brandon should be at that table is to be like a court room stenographer, he should be fined 100,000$$$ if he even opens his mouth.
I cannot believe that the Patriots didn't keep Jimmy G, I also cannot believe they only traded him for a 2nd rd pick when he is better than all of the QB's in this draft. I also cannot believe that they lost to Nick Foles in the Super Bowl. If Brady decides to not play this year the Patriots are going to sink to the bottom of the division faster than a cargo ship filled with lead bricks. I think Kraft may be loosing it and as a Bills fan I hope its a 20 year losing festival.
I find that to be amazing, the Buc's have no idea who they are taking with that pick and will have about 2 min to get the parrot to say the correct name. My question would be if for some reason the parrot says the wrong name are the Buc's stuck with that guy.
I guess with Foles he has proven he can win the Super Bowl with a superior O-Line, TE and WR. If The Bean thinks he can get us to the talent level of the Eagles than I guess I could deal with trading the 22nd pick for Foles. If QB's go off the board with the 1st 3 picks I would be very interested in Foles at 22.
That would be horrible if we cant move up to number 2, that would mean the Jets would have the choice of Darnold or Mayfield. Cleveland have Big Ben fever if they draft Allen, he might end up being a Big Ben clone but he has a ton of work to do to get there.
I disagree with you on this one, I think Watson as a passer is light years ahead of Jackson. Time will tell but I don't see him ever having the skills passing the football that Watson has. Watson reminded me of a better version of Russel Wilson, I think the complex defense's and speed will destroy Jackson.
I view taking Jackson in the 3rd rd as being stupid. He is going to have 31 fumbles after his 3rd season and waste 3 years of our lives. The only way he doesn't have 31 fumbles is if his twig legs break before he can accumulate them.
Your nightmare scenario is my dream scenario.
The Jets might have overpaid for the 3rd pick to making it harder for a team to trade up in front of them. My ideal draft is for Darnold and Mayfield gone at picks 1 and 2 leaving the Jets with the ????????? QB's.
The IT factor is that feeling that you get in your gut that a QB will be great. I had it with Wilson, Carr, Watson, Goff, Wentz and Cousins. In this draft I have that felling with Mayfield.
