Lol so we’re firing Beane after the game, mcdermott is out after the 0-16 season. josh Allen sucks cause he missed a throw so we’re drafting quarterback 1 next year. Shady is old and slow Clay caught a pass but he’s still terrible trade him. KB can’t see the ball maybe he needs contacts Mahomes is god can’t believe we didn’t draft him we could of had russel Wilson. Damn you TJ GRAHAM !!!!

Two completely different approaches to the seasons in my opinion. This year was about filling some holes with some mid level vets or low risk signings. The draft this year, next year and next years free agents are about building the foundation of the team for years to come. Ya know to make a run. Rather anyone likes Allen or whoever, the young guys along with some of the vets (star for example) are part of the foundation of this team for the next few years. Signings like Davis and Murphy and washed up guys like Newhouse are temporary 1-2 year fixes to fill some spots.

I’m not surprised they don’t have him starting, but I am surprised he’s not even active. He’s gotta be sucking in practice.

Its not what I would want in today’s NFL, however I do think that’s how they have tried to build this team for years now. Our only shot at success is pound the ball and control the clock and keeping the defense as fresh as possible. It’s been built that way as long as I can remember. Marrone Rex and McD all seem to have the same philosophy as far as that goes.

I expect a bounce back week for KB.. nothing flashy but I expect he’ll get the most targets

You are spot on there, I would love to see some limits on letting some of these fools start new threads constantly that are designed specifically for attention and trying to start drama. I get it’s a message board but some of those guys are trash. Maybe every new thread should be passed to a mod to approve before it goes live.

Leave the David carrs and a few others out of it and sure the bills themselves proved that a young quarterback with potential can be ruined. Look how many young “promising” talents we tossed out too early and totally ruined their careers. I’m a firm believer in a quarterback being shell shocked too early before ever building confidence in their game at the professional level. Now before I get blasted the likes of JP Losman, Trent Edwards and EJ Manual were never gonna be a top 15 elite kinda quarterbacks. However I do believe if they were drafted by some other teams (not all) they would have had much more success in the league. With us they had terrible coaching and were put in very unreal situations. Those 3 for example were probably not starting material long term, however think Matt Schaub or maybe Blaine Gabbert kinda careers. Not a starter but a decent backup who could spot start with some success. However due to getting completely overmatched so early in their careers became shell shocked and never able to recover from it. And they never really played after buffalo.

It is disappointing to not see any new lineman brought in. Our current guys are just overpowered and overmatched. Both in the run and pass game

If we can keep this strictly to football, his career is over. Along with Tebow and any other flash in the pan washed up quarterback out of the league for years. You don’t just hop back into a starting or even backup quarterback job after being away from the league for years at a time. There is ZERO reason to sign him. Zero. Plenty of other quarterbacks who are capable backups who have been active in the league and also have that thing called “potential and upside” Kap has none of that. We seen what he is when he played and it wasn’t very special minus one playoff game against the packers where he looked like a god (Tebow vs Steelers) This is Josh Allen’s year to sink or swim, nobody brought in should distract from that or even threaten his job security this year.

Minus a little depth help on the offensive line I personally don’t see the point. This is what I call a growth season. They picked their 53 and minus a spot or two they seem hell bent on seeing what these guys can do. Younger players need the experience, some of the older players are out at the end of the year anyways. I am in the mind set they feel they can win with this group but they also don’t mind to lose with this group either

You nailed my sentiments 100% i come here for news and healthy debate and discussion, not at all what has happened since preseason game 2. i always joke I wish they’d banish everyone starting new threads unless they receive x amount of “likes” or rep here. I would love the idea of negative repping trolls off the board. I feel they’d just make a new account and post right away though. We have some quality guys posting on here, I would like to see memebers earn the right to start new threads. Plenty of good ones to chat in

I’m upset and disappointed as well. We should be. But in all seriousness the threads started lately are just as pathetic as the team played. The constant firing and bashing every move the team makes is beyond discussion or criticism. Too many posters who can’t have a discussion unless you agree with vile hatred for any and all front office personnel lol.

There are 5000 hall of fame gm’s on this board lately, who clearly know more than OBD does. And throw flames 24/7 if anyone has a different opinion. We all knew this team would look like trash. There’s hope they can be coached up some like last years squad. But I think everyone can agree this team doesn’t have the same talent level as last years and that’s why so many seem upset. There is criticism and then there’s childish temper tantrums. The game was ugly and pathetic but the board is not any fun to read with how a lot of people are acting on here

While I do agree, to a certain extent. i suppose my thought should of been aimed more to 97% of the posters on this board know nothing of scouting or evaluation actual nfl talent. We don’t see film rooms and practices and who leads the team. I just hate all the fire this guy fire that guy stuff along with we should sign player x y and z and this front office knows nothing cause they don’t agree with my opinions kinda stuff

Here’s my beef... What does all the crying and whining accomplish? If some members are soooooo smart about the direction of this team why are you working 9-5’s or hanging in moms basement? Shouldn’t you be climbing the scouting ladder and working your way into the nfl? We are ALL unqualified nfl talent evaluators. There are 32 coaches and 32 gm’s. Who are we to criticize and beg for firings in year 2 of a massive project? I’m as bummed out and disappointed as anyone by the ONE game we played. I was one of those who expected more from Nate, certainly expected more from the defense. However I’m not on here arguing and crying about the state of the team. It is what it is, accept the “process” and cheer for your team or go find a new team. I hear the pats and cowboys have room on their massive bandwagons

Without a pass rush it’s ugly. From what I seen the middle of the field is wide open every play. Making the raven tight ends look like all pros. Flacco basically threw 5-7 yard curl patterns to tight ends non stop and of course we missed tackles on some of those. No corner/safety tandem in the league is gonna cover more than 4-5 seconds consistently with no pressure on the quarterback. It was just ugly in all phases today. No discipline whatsoever and nobody making plays really. Lot of work to do this year

I think some of you may have “premature” finishing issues lol.. Not a nice looking start for sure, but it’s not like it’s 56-0 here. Have a little patience
