How does it not happen now? AZ will pick up a portion of his salary and Beane will kick the can down the road some and convert some of his base to a signing bonus. (I think that's how the cap works, I really don't know) The hard part is afterward. The pressure is truly on then. For everyone.

That part is incorrect, yes, but don't dismiss that it seems the front office could have better used the resources they've had to build the offense. The Chargers have Ekeler, Mike Williams and Keenan Allen and by all accounts are looking to add another weapon for Herbert in the draft. That's what I want to see here.

The Bills could win the Super Bowl this season. That's how good they can be. None of what's transpiring is lost on me. I just have my own opinion on what I'd like to see happen, like most here do.

Regardless of what Allen received, the Bills had the tools to build a better offense around him. They haven't.

I did question the terms of the deal at Von's age, but was happy to have him on the team. The line has been questioned for the past 5 seasons. Personally, I want the team to go in a completely different direction on offense and defense, but that's not a popular take around here because it would mean a new coach and GM.

I'm a fan. I don't get paid millions to make personnel decisions, I just react to them. Would you rather have Von or a more formidable offensive line? You don't question the front office at all?

Right now, Josh is looking like a bargain. Draft moves aside, they had money to spend, but they spent it on Von Miller and Diggs. Both signings, I was good with, but it hasn't beared fruit, has it? Fact of the matter is, the resources could have been better used. In the past 2 seasons, KC has traded Hill, released Frank Clark and let Orlando Brown, who they traded for a year prior, walk. Connect the dots.
