  1. Lamar Jackson will be in this league for the next 4 years unless something catastrophic happens. In that time he will be the starting QB for some franchise. The NFL owners are desparately trying to delay the inevitable. Upper echelon QBs will be getting fully guaranteed deals in the near future. Does anyone here really think contracts given to star guys like Mahomes, Allen and soon, Burrow aren't all but guaranteed anyway? They will all see the life of their contracts.
  2. They're really pushing this narrative of "no one wants Lamar". I don't believe it for a second.
  3. Good for Jones, but ain't no way I'd give him that.
  4. I'm very happy for Geno. Right now I'd take him over the Tannehills, Carrs and Garopollos of the world.
  5. Henry isn't going to command a haul in a trade at age 29 and his salary is just under $11 million this season. That should be cake to fit under the cap.
  6. Let's go! F'n do it! Then draft Zay Flowers in RD1. Address the line with with your other draft picks and through free agency.
  7. I always thought he screwed himself by chasing the money and going to Chicago. Same with Golladay in NY. The Rams offensive philosophy, as has been stated, was terrible in trying to get Robinson involved.
  8. Chase Brown (RB Illinois) is going to be a problem if he gets drafted to the right team.
  9. I'm a car enthusiast and have been around motorsports my entire life. I consider myself lucky at age 39 because I did some truly stupid ***** age 16-23.
  10. What if you have kids or want something you can drive in all weather?
  11. Beyond stupid, given what's at stake - mainly your freedom, but that's alcohol and youth for ya.
  12. You might be ahead of the curve with this one.
  13. Apparently "building the line" is more complicated than it seems because it has yet to happen in 5 seasons. This team should be striving to upgrade every position that can be improved upon. Fournette has shown to be a better RB than what we currently have. He's excellent in pass protection, is an all purpose guy and a veteran presence. He would be an asset here if used properly and wouldn't break the bank.
  14. The Wire...but Clay got off and the Feds didn't pursue em because politics.
  15. So more of the same, but with a less seasoned coach. Got it.
  16. There would be no shortage of guys jumping at the chance to coach Josh Allen. That's for sure.
  17. With who at QB to take the pressure off Henry? Teams won't be able to sell out - and fail - in an effort to stop him on this squad.
  18. To limit the turnovers and its one-dimensional nature, this offense should be less reliant on Josh Allen. That is, if you all actually want to win a Super Bowl.
  19. And you may very well be right. The Commanders passed on hiring Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay. Instead they held on to dead weight coaches. "I'm not going to tip toe around it anymore..." - Mike Florio We share that sentiment.
  20. I'm pretty sure overall money has more to do with it than the taxes on said money. Poyer openly lobbied for a deal that Buffalo has shown they're not willing to give him. That's where it ends.
  21. He wouldn't be getting a long-term deal and even at 33, he's a significant upgrade over Edmunds.
  22. First rule, I would think, would be to not throw your head back like a toddler throwing a tantrum.
  23. Yeah, but the Browns franchise doesn’t command the respect that Baltimore does. It means more if the Ravens were to shell out a fully guaranteed deal. I think the NFL is headed in that direction anyway with the upper echelon QBs. Their deals are virtually guaranteed anyway, unless something truly unexpected were to happen.
  24. Honestly I don't see the big deal. Lamar will be signed to a massive 4 year deal anyway. What are the odds he won't be 'the guy', where ever he is, for the next 4 years? This is more about the league not wanting to set a precedent for fully guaranteed contracts.
