Florio raises an excellent question:
Chicken Boo replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why so many eye roll emojis? Florio, again, is 100% correct! This Beane/McDermott pipe dream of riding an '02 Buccaneers/'06 Bears defense to a Super Bowl is silly. League rules don't allow for that anymore. We're a pass first team, a team that goes the way of Allen? Fine. Load up talent on OFFENSE and let's go! -
Pitts RB Israel Abanikanda. Maybe a 3rd rder?
Chicken Boo replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
He doesn't look like a 4.3 guy, but that's what they say. -
Yet still managed to lead his team to the Super Bowl. It's football. Injuries are the only thing guaranteed to happen.

Josh could learn a thing or 2 from Hurts. Jalen actually takes what the defense gives him and tries not to take unnecessary hits.

Another guy who should have gone to Green Bay, but instead chased the money, to a Carolina team with no QB and now whatever momentum he had is gone. See it time and time again. All the way back to Greg Jennings.

How do the Bills win the Super Bowl next year?
Chicken Boo replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Genuinely chuckled at this. Leaning on the backs more to take pressure off of Josh having to do everything. Runs, screens, wheel routes(Cook), etc. James Cook should be used like the Payton coached Saints did with Kamara. Expecting Josh to gunsling us to the promise land is a longshot, in my opinion. I think McDermott knows this. The onus is on Dorsey. -
But I thought he would never sell and was going to expose all the other owners dirty secrets...🙄 Good ***** riddance!

You may be right, but he's got more tread left than the typical 33 year old, being a backup type guy most of his career. I saw Murray a few times last year with the Broncos. He looked fresh.
-
He's a fool if he signs here. He'll be inactive most weeks and what's left of his career will be over. Ask TJ Yeldon and Duke Johnson. Breida is lucky he has a rapport with Daboll.

Extremely happy and surprised to see Jalin Hyatt on there.

GOAT debate related to era Montana vs Brady
Chicken Boo replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
All things being equal - for your life - which QB do you go with? For me it's a coin toss, but I lean Brady because of Montana's injury history. Personally, I believe injuries are the only thing that kept Cool Joe from going 5 or 6-0 in the Super Bowl, so there's that. *In the same vein, Joe Gibbs doesn't get near enough credit for winning 3 Super Bowls with 3 different QBs. That's plain nuts. -
That's definitely the most effective way of containing him, but that plan might now be limited due to having more than just Bateman and Duevernay on the outside.

Why are people acting like Lamar is this awful passer? What talent at the WR position has he ever had to work with? If Hollywood had a 1,000 yard season with Lamar OBJ can too.
-
To be fair, O'Dell looked great in that playoff run and Super Bowl for the Rams before the ACL.
-
He made the right choice at his age. Secure the bag! Lamar will have him over 1,000 yards, easy, if he stays in Baltimore and OBJ is healthy.

At least we're on the same page as far as an offense guy. If this team wants to stop spinning its wheels, then they need talent on offense. Preferably a WR or yes, Bijan Robinson - who would become the best or 2nd best offensive weapon on this team not named Josh Allen. I don't care about what assets have been spent on the RB position. I care about what's going to produce wins. This franchise has wasted plenty of assets on the defensive line, yet they keep on swinging.

Yes. The Bills did all of that for what? To have him return kicks? What's Hines now, our 3rd option at RB? Unless Sportstrac is off there is no dead cap penalty to release him. Hines and Harris are likely gone after this season or sooner, leaving us where? Yes, Bijan is a luxury pick, but a top tier talent! You can't say that about any defensive player we might grab at #27 and our offense isn't talented enough to be trading up for a defensive guy. The Bills have picks in 2024 also. I'm not advocating for trading up, but if Beane does trade up, it needs to be for an immediate IMPACT guy on the offensive side of the ball.
