  1. Yawn. He'll return kicks and punts and be lucky to see 30 receptions on the year. Not an indictment of his talent, but of this staff.
  2. I don't fault Lamar for wanting a fully guaranteed contract. I think that's where the league is headed with the star QBs anyway. It may be what you stated earlier about Biscotti having to put the guaranteed amount in escrow. Part of me understands, but it's not like Stevie boy can't afford it.
  3. I've said it a couple of times now, but the thing I don't get is that Lamar will see every dollar of whatever 4-6 year contract he ends up signing. What's the big deal? If the Ravens are that worried about a potential catastrophic injury, then both parties need to part ways.
  4. Keep them both. In the Bills case it'd be a late 2nd, but you may be right. That would be even better.
  5. I bet he could be had for a 2nd. A back that wouldn't have to leave the field unless he's being spelled for rest. If Dorsey doesn't suck, this is exactly the type of back the Bills need.
  6. Same as in NO, I'd imagine. Strong rushing attack and short/intermediate pass game. Payton has a vision.
  7. I deleted my comment because you had acknowledged his production in another post. He wouldn't be nearly as productive here because Dorsey sucks.
  8. There was really a debate about paying this guy $18 million per season. Tremaine doesn't move the needle like that.
  9. Anyone who thinks the additions of Vic Fangio and Jalen Ramsey won't improve the Phins defense is kidding themselves.
  10. Your typical Beane type of signing. There's nothing dynamic about Williams, but he would be a good goal line back.
  11. That's a strange way of looking at things, giving the varying degree of talent pools in different drafts. Patience is a virtue, particularly when you have a young team and a QB on a rookie deal and the draft compensation is coming from, what should be, a below average team.
  12. I wish I understood this more, but I do not. The Panthers will be bottom dwellers for the next 2-3 years, yielding Chicago high picks, and the cupboard seems pretty bare.
  13. 2 1sts (at least 1 inside the top 10 still) 2 2nds & DJ Moore (25 years old) who would fetch a first rounder as well. Great deal for the Bears!
  14. They gave up DJ Moore as well as 1st and 2nd round picks? Wow.
  15. He used to be a stud. He's had a great career, but he'll be 33 when the season begins and he's clearly on the slide. I *wouldn't flip a table over if we signed him, but I wouldn't be enthusiastic about it either.
  16. If our only options are Brown, Beasley or Thielen, then there are much bigger problems at hand.
  17. Even better. Pittman is easily a WR1 with Josh as his QB.
  18. He's at the tail end of his career. Chasing the money is what he should be doing.
  19. You're completely dismissing the lack of talent at the WR position. Who has he had to work with? Devin Duvernay? I agree with this. I hope Burrow demands a fully guaranteed deal. Things will get real interesting then.
  20. Pete Carroll is a defense guy. Geno is having his moment right now with a good supporting cast around him. That's all.
