  1. No chance on this. That would signal a revolt. Easily one of the 4 best players on the top ranked D last year. It would be horrible Retired
  2. Is that a reflection of your insight or the player? I think more of the former than the latter.
  3. I can’t argue with that off-season. Dissly would be a reasonable backup TE, though the last former Seahawks TE we had in the building didn’t even make the team(Hollister). Just a fun fact and not really an indictment of Dissly. Love to have Kirk and Chandler in the fold. I’m not sure Blythe or Noteboom are even as good as Williams at G, but I understand the cap space created by releasing them adds needed depth. Sidney Jones may become TBD’s next whipping boy. He’s not been extremely consistent. Maybe with a superior pass rush in front of him, he can get over that.
  4. And I identify as a fan of the 2021 Super Bowl Champion Buffalo Bills. Sometimes we tell ourselves lies to make us feel good.
  5. OK. That is all true. I’m probably biased because I think the guy is hilarious and his whole shtick with being a redneck is pretty funny. The mullet and moustache two years ago was a thing of beauty
  6. No, I’m saying that there is still a week until free agency tampering opens and that the fact they haven’t done anything yet isn’t an indictment on the quality of general manager we see in Buffalo. You may want him to jump at every opportunity, but he hast to work within the Cap structure and ensure that the long-term viability of having a high level team is in place. I’m not someone who worships Beane as as the greatest GM in NFL history, but I am also well aware of the fact that he is assuredly one of the best out there currently based on the way that team has been built and has competed over the past two seasons, maybe three. Maybe you have recency bias or just became a fan in the last few years, but I’ve been through close to 20 years of abysmal play from this franchise and I am not about to get down on one of the men who lead us out of that.
  7. Nothing. Just like 90% of the GM’s in the NFL. That includes the GM’s who are in charge of both teams from the Super Bowl this year. I completely understand that so many people will not be satisfied until there is a Super Bowl trophy in Buffalo, but the position that this team has been in the past two years because of signings and drafts that Brandon Beane has been in charge of has been a great treat for so many of us who have watched this team for decades.
  8. This painted a picture of two old guys with Walkers trying to take on right and left tackles. I chuckled.
  9. I’m a Gardner fan. Great backup and would be a fan favorite in Buffalo.
  10. It’s called clicks. You don’t get them unless you post some wild ideas.
  11. So, he can really throw his weights around…?
  12. It’s the most wonderful time of the year….
  13. He’s definitely not going to play on a team where the starting quarterback is paid close to $40million annually. That leaves him with teams with middling quarterbacks, such as Pittsburgh, and teams with rookie qb contracts, such as New York. I think everybody should fully expect him to sign in New York.
  14. Mongo the man is great. The player was not as great as we needed him to be. Thanks for the memories (insert Sarah McLachlan song here)
  15. Two years ago, the Philadelphia Eagles made one of the worst wide receiver draft picks in recent history. Last year, they picked a guy who should be great, but really wasn’t. Not sure if they should be the gold standard in scouting wide receivers.
  16. Can’t stand hicks. Polluting their lawn with cars on bricks and dilapidated couches. Sitting there and chewing their cud.
  17. I like the thought, but you have to think that Seattle would be holding onto of one of its young assets if they’re trying to rebuild for the next five years. Their coach isn’t exactly a young guy. This is such a weird rebuild time for them.
  18. From a cap standpoint it doesn’t make sense. From a player acquisition standpoint it doesn’t make sense. The only way it makes sense is that he wanted the ability to choose his next team and they respected the wishes of one of their all-time greats.
  19. He was actually my choice. I’ve had a thing for that guy since he came in the league. He has incredible hands and runs beautiful routes. I expect the Tampa Bay will shell out for him, but whoever does get him gets one hell of a slot receiver who can play the outside as well.
  20. I think Harrison’s best friend is his wife. She could me my best friend if not. Hubba hubba.
  21. He somehow made people forget his tape from the previous season and watched from afar while his former coach was proven inept and consequently fired. He also played on a team with the best-development story at QB in a long time, possibly ever. He was a the top QB pick in a strong QB draft for something that Chicago saw, and teams in need of a QB see a young, athletic, strong-armed, intelligent and team-first player with upside. He’ll get paid north of $10million annually and there are sufficient signs pointing to that being a possible strong value for the right team.
  22. I’m not trying to harp on this, but I just found out the guy had 27 fumbles in college. My point may be proven with that statistic?
  23. Precautions? You mean like holding onto the ball less so that rushers don’t get to him or like running with the ball a little bit tighter than someone like a Josh Allen would do? Or, as he has done in college, he could wear two gloves. Those are what I’m talking about. Not sure why you find it funny.
  24. He played with the college ball. It is a completely different ball. He also played against college players. I’m not saying that He can’t succeed with those hands, but I am saying he has to take precautions that a guy with the hands the size of Russell Wilson or Josh would not have to. Besides the fact the guy has small hands, I also don’t think he’s about to be some sort of an elite or even average quarterback in the league.
