I was hoping that they would hire Mr. Ed. Oliver seems to respond well to horses.

Keyshawn Johnson downplays Mac Jones hype: ‘He ain’t Josh Allen’
MiltonWaddams replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was a talented wr who amounted to far less less due to his lack of focus and diva personality. How the hell he has made it as an on air personality escapes me. -

Giants are hiring Don "Wink" Martindale as their DC
MiltonWaddams replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
I called this one as soon as Dabbol went to the Giants. Although their D did well enough last year, that team just needed a lot of new blood and a corner turned. This makes as much sense as any defensive coordinator that was available -

He’s a pretty lucky guy. He’s got all of the Lollipop Guild to back him up if he has any contract disputes. -
Bartokomous! Marrone is the angriest. That congratulatory message from Belichick confused the crap outta him.

Vikings Oline coach Phil Rauscher (Twitter speculation)
MiltonWaddams replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I think that Dalvin would probably be best served as a running back. I’m not sure he’s qualified to coordinate anything. -

Well, he was sacked 28 times last year, but he’s not exactly a mobile qb, so take from that what you will. -

Pro Bowl implementing “Spot and Choose”
MiltonWaddams replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have a colleague who is currently on site in Vegas with her husband who is a strength and conditioning coach for an NFL team ( she has pointedly asked me not to refer to him, so I respect that) She says that it’s just an autograph show and a good time for all the players to connect and have fun. She wishes it was back in Hawaii, but other than that it’s pretty much pointless for anybody except the players. -
Roughriders? If we’re going that way, how about the Washington Magnums?!

In reading this New York Times article, I can see that there are no expectations for me here. I made a great choice… -
OL coach Bobby Johnson headed to NY, has signed contract
MiltonWaddams replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Glad you aren’t the GM. Mongo definitely isn’t a starter, but he is the kind of guy that you won’t complain about having on your bench for depth and for culture. -

I completely understand the Wyatt teller reference, and I can see why you would bring up Quinton Spain, but Quinton Spain is not the reason that the Bengals are in the Super Bowl. He definitely could’ve been one of the reasons they weren’t though. That offensive line is horrendous. 9 sacks versus Vegas?!! -
As Pangea will be very close to reforming, I predict that the Bills will open at the Moscow Mule’s. It will be a tightly contested contest, but the Buffalo robots will overcome the Russian ones.

McDermott's first Offensive Coordinator hire back in 2017
MiltonWaddams replied to Bag of Milk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah. Why don’t we just go with the person who provides the most insight as a commentator? I’m going with Tony Romo. I think there’s a bit more to being an offensive coordinator than you think. Nobody just comes off the field and becomes an offensive coordinator. they go through many stages of coaching -
Like most of you, growing up Michigan was a college powerhouse. They had the Fab five in basketball and were always in the mix for national titles in football. How the mighty have fallen. That program is in shambles. Ann Arbor is a really pretty town and I’ve had a few good visits there. Playing basketball at the Crisler Arena/Center was one of my better memories. It continues to be a good scholastic program, but I’m not sure how long it will take for their athletics programs to return to prominence, if ever. Their leadership completely blew it.
