I don't buy this at all. They don't know if he is going to last and conventional wisdom says have your top 9 guys in order and one of them will fall into your lap. I could understand locking in on a player if you were top 3 but we are too far down.

I every once in a while buy cards but I was like you back in the day. It seems to me brand is not as important as is the series. Topps sells so many different series right now and some of them depending on scarcity are very valuable.

Not sure what that means. The veteran minimum blows away what most of us earn in 10-15 years of work. There might be a greater risk of injury but the teams take care of most medical bills and that's not cheap either.

I think they will have him fill the Groy space backing up all three interior positions. Bodine will probably be gone because there is no flexibility in what positions he can play

I don't know that I disagree with you about the WR1 but I'm guessing it won't matter as long as we have solid capable options. I am most excited about Beasley, he is a solid slot guy that will do what needs to be done. Reminds me of a Welker and sounds like the Pats were interested in signing him too.

I would look no further than Zay Jones, a former pupil of the old receiving coach to prove that wrong, you think that was a coincidence? Also what makes you believe Whaley would draft a CB first where as it was obvious that Mcdermott wanted to redo the secondary because that was his strength. Not sure I would say Beane was in charge of it but I am pretty sure Whaley wasn't in it either.

I think Nix has been undervalued. He had a lot of mess to clean up and did exactly what Beane is doing as far as getting the cap fixed. His major flaw was Manuel but I have a feeling that he knew Manuel would be bad but with the fan base desperately wanting a QB and not one in site he was the only option that year.

I would love some like Julio that doesn't make waves but those guys generally don't make waves and change teams. I think Brown was an idiot for demanding a trade to leave Pittsburgh especially since the Raiders are not showing they are a strong contender. I personally want some stud from the draft to grow with Allen at this point.

So what is his excuse for wanting to leave Pittsburgh? This is all about AB and no one else. I don't know what they have in the water in Pittsburgh but Bell and him have the same disease, they are bigger than the team. Because you need players. Potential might be all he has but you can't cut every player that won't be a starter and replace them with high priced free agents

If you want to go that far back we can say that Bart Starr would be the greatest of all time. When you go that far back and 8 and 9 teams in the league it is much easier to be dominant.

Ask yourself, is the Patriots defense that good this year to hold McVeigh's offense to only 3 points? Now everyone can have a bad game. I admit this clip seems very far fetched but they have been caught doing things against the rules in the past.
