  1. Unless we have a plague of injuries, he’s done. Maybe he’ll show well in the 1st couple preseason games and catch on somewhere.
  2. I just hope Feliciano doesn’t hurt too many people in camp.
  3. Costello doesn’t see Spain as a starter? I think sometimes these guys are ‘too big for their own britches’.
  4. I’d be haggling withTampa to find out what they’d need in the way of our day 3 pick(s) for Gerald McCoy. They’ve only got 1.7 mill under the cap and that just won’t be enough. If we could pull in McCoy, would make a trade down more comfortable. We’d have a more than solid 3 tech in hand so dropping to 15 or so and picking up another 2nd would be good stuff.
  5. Some sour grapes in here, I think. Guy lost to Beane on 1 --- or more than 1.
  6. As things stand at the moment, either Wilkins or White. Beane still has time to shake things up with a pre draft trade, which could change my mind.
  7. Beane may be the head, but Overdorf is the head's neck. There.
  8. Bills fans should probably get off Zay and spend more time riding Marcus Murphy..... 11 catches, 3 drops for 26 yards.
  9. Zay is listed on Page 3 for dropped passes last year: https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/stats?season=2018&week=100&category=RECEIVING&opp=0&sort=11&qualified=1&sortOrder=0&page=1 He had 3, which is an ok drop rate.
  10. Ideas that won’t work 1. Let’s move Pears to Right Guard. 2. Let’s restructure Incognito. Twice. 3. Let’s hire Rex’s brother 4. Let’ move Edmunds
  11. I can't imagine anyone taking the time to type all of this crap. Might be 200 previously written random posts separated by carriage returns.
  12. We've gone from bad OL ---> could be real solid OL. Great to have a GM that does his job well. Now it's up to the Coaches.
  13. There are enough teams that need a Center that I think they can get something for Bodine. Even a 2020 6th is better than zip.
  14. Pretty darn good crystal ball OP. Better than pretty good, so I'll be watching your future posts more closely.
  15. I don’t think McDermott or Beane are going to easily forget the Patriots running it down our throats. If a top DL guy can be had, we’ll get him.
  16. Given that it is an opinion, whoever one chooses to be best is certainly right in their own mind. Regardless of anyone's opinion, there is very little film out there from the pre-Superbowl era. I consider SI as a valid proof source. "On this day, Belichick is at first hesitant to break down Brown’s game. There is apparently no real game film of Brown in existence. The Browns have none. NFL Films has none. CBS, which broadcast NFL games during Brown’s career, was unable to provide game film when asked. There are highlight packages available on the Internet and also one fairly complete reel of the 1965 championship game, skillfully cobbled together from various sources. These highlights comprise most of the Brown canon. The rest is lost to time."
  17. There is very little video of players or games in the late 50s or early 60s. That is my point.
  18. You sound like you know lots of stuff, so being old and hoping to wallow in nostalgia on a lazy Saturday afternoon I decided to watch some video of the 11/1/1959 game between the Browns and the Colts. Jim ran for over 170 in that game, but I must be doing something stupid Interweb wrong, cuz I can’t find it! I know that video is available because ‘Video exists’. Could you post the URL to that thing?
  19. Why is Adrian Peterson employing some guy with an unpronounceable last name to tweet about the Bills’ draft. Wery suspiciousful.
  20. About once a year, I read something and tear up a bit and I don't even know why. One of those.
  21. Here's a link to a SI article about and with Jim Brown, that included interviews with some of the other backs on the short list of Great. Belichek's comments make it clear where he stands on the issue. Anyway if you have the time, a real good read: https://www.si.com/mmqb/2015/09/28/jim-brown-cleveland-browns-hall-of-fame-nfl-greatness
  22. I'm not sure why, but your comment made me think of Ernie Davis (the Elmira Express). Browns had both him & JB him for a short time before Ernie's death. Anyone want to watch some old-timey football, here's a game from 1961 -- Syracuse vs Maryland. https://video.search.yahoo.com/search/video?fr=mcafee&p=ernie+davis#id=1&vid=416b3aabfbcf2569dadfc37321a5ec87&action=click
  23. Jim Brown. As a Brown's fan, it was a sad, sad day when he retired.
