I kind of feel like this isn't a legacy that means anything, other than to the Bills and their fans. I mean the Bills weren't the best team in the league during any of those years, so how much pride can one take in a team that was, at best, the 2nd best team in the NFL for each of those years? IMO any team that wins one super bowl has already eclipsed anything those 90's Bills did.

RBs fall off a cliff production wise at his age. So it’s not “forgetting how to play”, but it’s the same result. Didn’t Shady get benched last season? Doesn’t jive with the “great in the locker room” narrative.

I see your point. I was rooting against them today and will in two weeks but I don’t hate them, I respect the hell out of them, to be honest. It would definitely be different if the Bills had been even remotely competent over the last 20 years, but sadly they haven’t. About the only positive in the Bills ineptitude has been that I can enjoy watching the greatest player ever without hating him. Here’s to hoping that in my lifetime the Bills figure it out.
