  1. Too bad... Baldwin single handily won me a fantasy title a few years ago with a huge final stretch.
  2. I think it is much more likely that Allen improves. But when analyzing risk you typically take the chance of occurrence and the impact of the risk and apply a function to score it. I’m risk averse, so I wouldn’t gamble with my 1st round pick without more confidence that our O is a top 16 unit.
  3. I don’t think there is any scenario, except horrible injury, where we take a QB next year either. But without knowing what our O is capable of, it’s too risky to give up a pick that could be top 10.
  4. I think there is a chance Allen plays at the same level or regresses, which would really limit the offensive unit and most likely lead to marginally improved performance despite the additions. Obviously, hoping that isn’t the case but it needs to be considered when analyzing the risk of making bold moves like trading next year’s high picks.
  5. I think it’s too risky to give up 1st round picks without knowing what we have in Josh Allen, and the entire offensive unit. If it was a sure thing that Allen and the O would take a big step forward this season, it might be worthwhile. But if things go the other way than this trade ends up being a big mistake.
  6. From Oliver’s reaction to being selected by Buffalo, to the videos of his tour of OBD, I really like this kid and am hoping he realizes his potential.
  7. I can’t say that I expect anything, it’s a total unknown for me. Maybe Allen builds on his late season showing, maybe he looks like crap. Hope is where I’m at. I hope Allen takes a step forward and the Bills look like a competent team on the offensive side of the ball.
  8. I’m cheating a little, but the Fins got a great deal on Rosen.
  9. One angle that I haven’t seen discussed is the post game situation. I usually start tailgating after the game for an hour to let the traffic ease up, that won’t be possible for people on the bus.
  10. It’s worth the stroll over to the Bills Twitter account to read the comments about this announcement.
  11. Just a cash grab that will provide data for making a long term decision about the future stadium. It will be interesting to see how this affects attendance. I’ve been to other NFL tailgates and to Ann Arbour for a few, nothing compares to Buffalo. I think a lot of bus trips will be canceled due to this policy shift.
  12. I get 4 regular season games from my season tickets agreement, I chose this game hoping the same as you....PLAYOFFS!
  13. Booked a couple rooms for two nights in Cleveland, the Hilton that is a 5 min walk to FirstEnergy Stadium, was told it’s selling quick.
  14. I’m cautiously optimistic as well, which, like yourself, is a stretch for me. Just show me the GD baby already. Both the draft and free agency added some nice pieces, but this team will only go as far as Allen will take them. And Allen is still a huge question mark in my eyes.
  15. Seems like a really good kid, probably what sold McBeane on him, but I am far from sold on this pick. The tape shows pretty good elusiveness, which is encouraging but mostly I just kept thinking about how small DS is and how bad the competition was he was playing against. 3rd round pick for this guy? I just don't see it.
  16. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it here, I like WGR: tons of Bills content, it’s free, and all I have to do is push the on button. A lot of posters on here seem to only want an echo chamber, which is fine, but I prefer critical thinking and challenging ideas, especially my own. The afternoon show has a lot of good interviews as well.
  17. I really didn’t understand the Singletary, especially with Chase W on the board but I’m encouraged by what I am reading about Singletary. I think our fan base would have been happy regardless of who was picked once we landed Oliver. Beane has a lot of support right got now amongst the fans. Here’s to hoping that we find success with this roster.?
  18. You raise a good point about skipping the cone drills, I hadn't thought of that. The decision to do the cone drills most likely cost him a good chunk of change.
  19. Yeah, Beane gets the benefit of the doubt. Let’s hope he is correct.
  20. Maybe Yahoo Sports can get caught up in the hype but guys that watch thousands of hours of film, like Crabbs and the crew at TDN, had a high grade on DK. I guess we’ll see how it turns out. Personally, I’d much rather have stayed put in round 2 and taken DK than have traded up for Ford.
  21. Your approach doesn’t seem very processy...I’m going to have to let the McBeane thing play out before going in a new direction.
  22. Why??? How many backs are on this team? 8??? And with some decent WR talent out there...smh Oh well, good luck young man in standing out in a crowded backfield.
  23. Ford’s footwork looked like it needs a lot of improvement, I’m hoping he can improve and be a quality starter.
  24. Let’s go Buffalo! I’m hoping for Metcalf but think there is no way he drops another 8 spots.
