  1. Welland, Ontario, so I can make it to the stadium in under an hour. And for the first time I’m a season ticket holder. It’s been cheaper to just buy from the secondary market since for most of my adult life. But I’m taking a chance that this is the year and the Jets game will be rocking and tickets won’t be $15 like they typically are.
  2. Chris Gragg Dude was in Green Bay last year when the Bills were playing and introduced himself to me. Like saw me in my Tre White jersey at a bar on Saturday night and introduced himself as a former Bills TE.
  3. Anything is possible, would have a good shot if Beane trades Shady during camp.
  4. I thought your post was ending a different way. This must still be a reflective holiday, hope your family is enjoying it.
  5. I’d prefer to give that guy a chance to rail against OJ, still feel awful for him.
  6. I guess he’s a sleeper in dynasty leagues, or a bye week starter in regular leagues.
  7. Probably better off to put this thread in the political forum, as that is where it will probably end up.
  8. My son is four and just now starting to play sports, but my eyes were opened to how crazy sport parents/coaches have become about two years ago. My nephew is a good little hockey player, seven years old at the time and playing for the select team for our region. My first shock came when the children all arrived in the same team issued outfits, that I was told were very costly. Next, I see the coaches take the bench wearing full suits. Those coaches proceeded to smash sticks against the boards later in the game when a call went against them as the parents I was sitting next to cursed at the top of their lungs. I was disgusted and said something to my brother-in-law, he looked at me like I was from another world, this is a normal occurrence for coaches and parents....of seven year olds. I haven't been to another game.
  9. As long as Ford develops into a starter I’m happy.
  10. So pumped to see the Raps win, going to the parade Monday to celebrate. I want this for the Bills so much.
  11. As others mentioned, ticket prices are so cheap it more than makes up for the beer price. I can usually get away with only buying 3 to 4 beers a game until I get back to my cooler. And during winter games I bury a beer in the snow at the gates and don’t even have to get all the way back to my cooler. I only have a drinking problem at New Era and the cottage.
  12. Cool video. The kid is just so likeable, even if he wasn’t the Bills’ QB I’d still be rooting for him.
  13. Did Allen really do anything to alleviate the questions scouts and pundits had about his ability last season? I think Allen showed more athleticism and leadership than I expected but I doubt those register with the scouts who doubt his throwing accuracy and ability to make reads. Despite a lot of fans claiming we got our guy, the jury is still out. We should all have a much better idea after this season. Here’s to hoping.
  14. I don’t know the details of his domestic cases, so I’ll just say I hope the man has matured enough to deal with his life in a positive manner, especially moving forward with the stress of a bad injury.
  15. Best post I read was, “maybe Gase’s Ausberger eyes misread the 6th as a 4th...” LMAO
  16. It feels nice not to be the sh*t show franchise of the AFC East.
  17. I agree, and will cease and desist immediately.
  18. Depends on whether Allen has developed his short game. If so, CB could be a big weapon.
  19. RIP Pancho! You are a true warrior!
  20. Too bad... Baldwin single handily won me a fantasy title a few years ago with a huge final stretch.
  21. I think it is much more likely that Allen improves. But when analyzing risk you typically take the chance of occurrence and the impact of the risk and apply a function to score it. I’m risk averse, so I wouldn’t gamble with my 1st round pick without more confidence that our O is a top 16 unit.
  22. I don’t think there is any scenario, except horrible injury, where we take a QB next year either. But without knowing what our O is capable of, it’s too risky to give up a pick that could be top 10.
  23. I think there is a chance Allen plays at the same level or regresses, which would really limit the offensive unit and most likely lead to marginally improved performance despite the additions. Obviously, hoping that isn’t the case but it needs to be considered when analyzing the risk of making bold moves like trading next year’s high picks.
  24. I think it’s too risky to give up 1st round picks without knowing what we have in Josh Allen, and the entire offensive unit. If it was a sure thing that Allen and the O would take a big step forward this season, it might be worthwhile. But if things go the other way than this trade ends up being a big mistake.
