  1. Well you have your 2 outside WR , your slot WR and he is either the new slot WR or or 5th-6th WR but being paid like our starting slot WR.
  2. The OL is not fixed, I don't care what anyone says, picking a G who's been a backup his whole career until now isn't solving the problem, I'm not saying the Bills are done in FA and we still have a draft so I'm not jumping the gun here. If I'm Buffalo I'm trading our 1st round pick for a RT (Spencer Brown is not the answer), much like the Chiefs did for Brown, I have no clue who that might be but that's what he should be doing, going to a cap strapped team who has an OT with 1 year + option on his resume and trade 1.27 for him. If we can trade DT Ed Oliver (if he isn't part of our plans) for a starting caliber RG then do so ( I have no clue what a team values him at but I'm sure there is some GM who feels they can make him into an all pro) then use or 2nd round pick on an ILB which would be a much cheaper option then signing some old washed up ILB with a i year deal and hope his knees don't buckle after each tackle. This isn't some Madden level of trading, the Chiefs traded the 1st rounder for Brown and Oliver even if some here thinks he's trash, he was a former 9th overall pick and shows flashes at times of great play but these are just my opinions.
  3. So they're like our fans once a player leaves and hates on the guy.
  4. Because they just replaced him with another top level OT.
  5. Unless we select 2 Cody Fords then it wont be.
  6. I agree, even if we fill those spots with a 1st and 2nd rounder we now have 2 rookies and a guy thats been a backup for 4 years blocking for Josh.
  7. It's just you, he was a beast and KC tried to sign him but he turned down their offer.
  8. I don't know how i feel about this offseason so far, we needed major help along the OL and so far we are hoping LG Conner McGovern is better than his backup status his first 4 years. We signed a tiny dome WR who i've literally never heard of before (Yes beasley played in a dome but he also had a bunch of years of production) signed to a bigger contract than Mckenzie but he's fast, can he play in the snow , can he make it through a season at 5'7" 170 lbs.? We re-signed Jordan Poyer, he was a great pickup years ago but has clearly lost a step even before the injuries, maybe he can rekindle things with Hyde again but now we have 2 banged up safties and he's going to be 33 when the contract ends. Backup QB Kyle Allen is gross, I don't care what anyone says there isn't much to like there but he's friends with Josh so he gets a pass. I'm definitely not liking this offseason compared to last season obviously but I thought we'd go after a better OL than McGovern and we still haven't replaced our ILB situation. I realize there is the draft and many of these issues will be addressed so I hold judgement obviously but I need the OL to be priority 1 still imo.
  9. Every blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile, we did it.
  10. I'd much rather the Jets have a declining Aaron Rodgers than hit on a franchise QB.
  11. I've literally never heard of this guy before even before the name change not that it means anything but I feel I'm pretty knowledgeable on current players around the league. A concern i have is that he plays in a dome so will he have the same explosion in 30 degree whether or in snowstorms that we tend to have yearly? Plus he's 5'7" 170 lbs.
  12. I’d say ILB is in play, I highly doubt they rest the season on special teaser Tyler Matevich and 2nd year Tyrell Bernard. I’d also guess we’ll be drafting an OL high in the draft at either RG or RT or both.
  13. Like the great Marv Levy once said, if you start doing what the fans want you'll be sitting with them.
  14. Allen lazard signing a 4 year 44M deal per NFL network https://www.nfl.com/news/jets-signing-ex-packers-wr-allen-lazard-to-four-year-44-million-deal
  15. Going on Twitter and telling an average american who's probably making less than 60K a year he just turned down 133M guaranteed is always a good thing, what could go wrong?
  16. If we go into the season with Brown and Bates as starters you'll see Allen once again running for his life and quite possibly worse. This will most likely be addressed through the draft which is understandable due to the cap restraints we have.
  17. If Bates is a starter this season I think it's a fail, no reason Bates should be our starting LG, I'm hoping McGovern is taking the place of Saffold and we will address RG here in FA or the draft, I also believe Spencer Brown needs serious competition at RT either in FA or the draft, Still a bunch of work to do imo.
  18. That would make much more sense then trading him for a WR who was hurt just about all last season with 1 decent year of production under his belt in 4 seasons.
  19. It's an Oline move but I'm wondering if this is just a small step up from Saffold or a large 1. It's an upside/potential player who was a backup in Dallas his whole time there until he came in for injuries. I hope this isn't the last move they make towards the OL in FA but I'm glad they're addressing our weakest area of need.
