Well I was trying to keep the focus on the facts and not incite personal attacks and troll posts like this one. If you ahve a problem with what I said, watch the plays and tell me why it's wrong. These are SUCCESSFUL plays showing Taylor not maximizing opportunities. If you want proof of the same thing when the play isn't successful I have hundreds to choose from.

See I look at his takes and think the videos show evidence of what I'm trying to say: * The O'leary play was great, but it's already the beginning of garbage time/go time down by 3 scores * The nice matthews catch on the sideline for 10 yards was an open throw when he had Thomas r20 yards downfield on the seam where an outside ball would have been just as safe and a much bigger play. I see big time QBs make that play every week * Comeback route to zay jones again he was wide open by five yards but running back to the LOS while O'Leary was also completely open moving towards the endzone * TD pass to Zay was fine, but Zay had a 7 yard perimeter around him due to an awesome route. i expect every QB in the league to make that play. I'm not intentionally trying to hate, I'm just telling you this is a pattern. It's no secret Taylor is a conservative QB, but it's to a detriment. He could still throw safe balls that are more successful that he just doesn't seem to see. He heavily favors wr's whose shoulders are facing him.

I know you mentioned that you thought it was one of Taylor's best games. Honestly not trying to pick a fight on this, but did you go back and rewatch any of our offense to try to break it down? I was a major Taylor fan. Love his escapability and arm. I've just completely lost faith in his ability to put the team on his back or even capitalize on mismatches that aren't completely blown plays by the opposing team. I mean, did Jordan Matthews just forget how to play football? He's on pace to have his worst season by over 50% in nearly every statistic. The last two years we've been in the bottom five of YAC. I thought most of last year that would have been poor QB play, but then I started paying attention to how many times Taylor throws to guys who are near or completely motionless, so they get swarmed right upon the catch. What's funny about all of that is he stopped all of those bad habits the final 8 minutes of the game and he looked great from that point on.

No offense, but maybe you weren't paying attention. The people I was watching the game with refused to blame Taylor too, because the line played badly, until i rewinded key plays to show open wrs all over the field that Taylor either didnt trust (because they were covered but open) or couldn't see. Based on the awful batted ball directly into an already raised arm, I seriously believe that Taylor can't at all see over the line and has to rely on repetition and timing to throw to people in the pocket.

Is this a bait post? Yesterday was one of the worst games of Tyrod's career. Held onto the ball forever. Took sacks when plenty of opportunities presented to get rid of the ball Refused to throw into any sort of coverage until the last two drives Only throws over the middle to flat footed stationary targets who are five yards open Taylor proved yesterday that he's probably not a Top 25 QB when it comes to winning football games. If you prefer a guy to play not to lose, He's top 10. Did his team **** the bed? Absolutely. Any QB you want to slap a "franchise" label on needs to at least put them in a position to win. Taylor won't or can't.

Make the cuts to get the comp pick
BullBuchanan replied to The juice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one on this team is expendable. We're only where we are because everyone knows exactly what they're doing. GTFO with talks about draft picks in a year where it looks like I finally get to open that box of Flutie Flakes. -

You know what sounds better? Having holmes be your 3rd best WR instead of your 1/2 -
Make the cuts to get the comp pick

My bad, this is the first year they've ever been able to do that. Still, I dont care about it at all. -
Why did it take SO LONG to find this tandem?

TD Greg Williams would have been fine if they kept Bledsoe. -

You cant trade a comp pick and Benjamin was drafted in the first round because he's a first round talent. Guys like him are lottery win in the 3rd. I don't value 3rd round picks much more than a just a guy Preston Brown type. -

Who cares about what's practically a 4th rd pick that cant be traded? Pop quiz: How many Bills 4th round picks do we have on our team? Spoiler: 0 Even if you want to argue a 3rd: Preston Brown, John Miller, Adolphus Washington. I'd take a bet that none of them are on the 53 next season. If you win, picks decrease in value. -
I understand and it's a fair point. It's worth noting banking is a pretty old school industry. In my work experience (tech), it's extremely common for employees to make their feelings known to management. We're reasonably expensive to replace, so we exercise that leverage until we move on to greener pastures.

Not sure where you work, but this hasn't been true for a long time at the broader scale. When you're highly skilled and the company depends on that skill to be successful, most successful owners will try to understand where their employees are coming from and when possible work with them to resolve their issues. When they don't, the best talent leaves and the company suffers. Not sure how much of a hurry Duane Brown will be in to re-sign if he has other equal offers.
