  1. What is your evidence to suggest the analysis is flawed?
  2. Why would you want PFF to coach a team? What point is it that you think you're making?
  3. I mean, most coaches are awful and the majority of the rest are painfully mediocre former athlete dinosaurs. Is it a surprise their grades don't correlate 1:1 with empirical analysis? A grade is a grade based on inputs and a model. It doesn't care what you believe. What a result of a model means is up for interpretation, but the grade itself really isn't so long as the input is accurate to the rubric.
  4. Fournette has never been anything more than a fringe roster player in the pros. His college injury ruined his career, but people act like he's actually done things as a pro. Dude has a 3.9 YPC average. He's pretty bad. I'd rather have Duke Johnson.
  5. No one anywhere in the world thought this was a "fake slide" but you. It was clearly a stutter step and change of direction. Just because the Steelers were lazy and didn't finish the play doesn't mean that Allen did something wrong. It's pretty laughable to accuse allen of a "fake slide" when he almost never even slides at all. His preference is to run through guys.
  6. Allen had big total stats this year but had multiple games, including several in a row where he was outright horrible. Just three game ago, he was the worst player on the field for 3 quarters of football before flipping his shirt inside out and becoming superman. You can't do that stuff and win MVP, no matter how great your collective stats are.
  7. You do know he started his 3rd string QB tonight, right? You also know that he was playing without their Team's MVP, right? I'm really grateful we didn't have to play against a healthy Watt.
  8. Since his very first game I thought that Tony Romo was the best color guy on tv and I can't think of another person I'd put him living or dead. He has the ability to make any game exciting to watch. Despite most Bills fans hating him for whatever reason, he's also been a pretty open supporter of the Bills and Allen from the beginning.
  9. Well, the positive in that he's in great shape. The bad news is that as of last night he's still signed to the Browns.
  10. Bass is a good kicker in a bad stretch. It happens to everyone, including the greats. Not worried at all.
  11. That fumble stands call is inexcusable without explanation. We shouldnt have even had to burn our two challenges on missed turnovers from the refs.
  12. 7.5? I feel like we should blow out the Steelers, but we often struggle against bad teams. After seeing what Green Bay did to Dallas and remembering how badly we tried to Let NE and the Chargers win, there's a sinking feeling that we could just not show up to play today. Not sure that feeling will go away no matter how deep we go into the playoffs though.
  13. They will technically have the ability, but they absolutely won't use it until they franchise him at least once. So they are "stuck" even if it's techncially by their own doing, because that's the forced meta. Teams just don't get rid of franchise level QBs in their prime, even if they aren't good enough to win it all. Up until this season there was similar criticism lobbed at Lamar Jackson, Dak (and there might be again soon, despite a near MVP season), and yes even Josh Allen. It doesn't mean any of those teams are getting rid of their star QBs any time soon, because it just doesn't happen without a massive stroke of luck.
  14. Well there's zero chance he'll be "healthy". It's possible he'll be available though.
  15. What you're suggesting doesn't ever happen unless it's in the specific I liad out which requires extreme fortune in your favor. It has nothing to do with whether or not your Head Coach is a genius or not. Right - so they're stuck with him a minimum of 2 more years, even if he doesn't get any better. Realistically, they'll probably still have to re-sign him to a medium term deal even if they know he can't get it done, because that's the way it works with NFL QBs. The team is built to win now. They aren't starting over with a rookie QB. It lets them play at home where they play much better than in the cold. Will it be enough? Maybe not, bu I think it's their best chance as long as they have teams like Buffalo, KC, Bal, Pitt with open air stadiums to play against.
  16. What are you gonna do? It's not like they can draft a QB this year after Tua led the league in yards, and a coach's leash is very short. It's almost impossible for them to move on from Tua barring injury for at least 2-3 years. It's just not a thing that happens in the NFL unless you have a late round pick that turns into a super star due to injury.
  17. They're a good team and generally well coached, though I do question the gameplan they've been using the last few weeks. Tua played scared all day it seemed, making lots of throws to players that weren't in a position to move the ball. It'll be interesting to see an all-22 breakdown of this one. Not sure Tua is good enough to get it done for them unless they're able to snag a #1 seed.
  18. What loser mentality with the cleveland clock management. 40 seconds and timeout and you quit? I think they're gonna get blown out now.
  19. Stroud is maybe the best looking rookie QB I've ever seen. Dude is sick. I definitely did not expect this from him.
  20. If your goal is to pin an opponent within the 20, he's in company with the all-time greats over the course of a career as I detailed in the Martin complaining thread a few weeks back. If you want distance, you could do better, but for a team like the Bills, I'd argue the former is more important.
  21. Because we already have a great Punter who just won Special Teams player of the month. Oh yea, and he's a pervert.
