  1. That's great advice - you should take it. It was 86 degrees last September 12th at 8pm in Miami with 72% humidity for a real feel of 93 degrees. https://world-weather.info/forecast/usa/miami/12-september/ “Generally, caution should be taken if the heat index is over 77 degrees (Fahrenheit). Above 82 degrees is considered ‘extreme caution’ — heat-related illness is possible with long exposure. Over 85 is dangerous — heat illness is likely and heat stroke is possible. Eighty-nine and above gives a high risk of heat stroke,” Dr. Sterling Ransone, a practicing family physician in Deltaville, Virginia, told Healthline." https://www.healthline.com/health-news/what-you-should-do-if-you-exercise-work-in-the-heat
  2. You've never been in the south in September then? It was 92 in Austin today at 8:15.
  3. Vote dolphins. We'll be playing the dolphins in Miami on 4 days rest on September 12th. High chance of it being the Heat Stroke Game all over again. They have so much talent on their team that if they split with us, I could see them winning more games than us for sure. The Jets are a possibility. Rodgers may have one more year where he can throw a team on his back, but I'm not a believer right now.
  4. in no particular order I have us behind these teams in terms of strength (wins might not line up) Chiefs Ravens Texans 49ers Lions I think we're in a tier that includes the Bengals, Dolphins, Browns, Cowboys, Eagles and Packers to start the year. We could be at the top of that group or the bottom. I'll give the Bills the benefit of the doubt and say they're the 8th best team, but I don't have a ton of confidence in it. This is the weakest roster we've had in Allen's tenure, imo. The Chargers are probably the biggest wild card in football right now. They might be a top 4 team depending on how fast Harbaugh can right the ship.
  5. Nine eleven isn't a flavored wing, it's just not a traditional buffalo style wing. different sauce.
  6. I can see AJ having an 8-10 sack season this year. He's had back to back 6.5 sack seasons with limited reps. He was a monster last season but kept getting rotated out for Shaq and the ghost of Von Miller. I'm hoping he's the full time #2 with Miller serving out the remainder of his tenure here in a reserve role - ideally as the #4 or even #5. Realistically, McD won't be able to help himself and he'll be the #2b or #3 unless someone else steals the job outright.
  7. Nine eleven are the best wings in the country (cash only btw), but they are unique against other buffalo area wings. Bar Bill are the pinnacle of the traditional buffalo style wing.
  8. With Von? Under. The dude is beyond washed. If he gets 2 sacks he'll double my expectations. If he's not 500% better than he was last year he should be a healthy scratch all year. I think AJ and Groot could combine for 16
  9. How good is that really? He's averaging a little over 8 sacks a year as their #1 DE. I'd rather just see what AJE can do in an expanded role.
  10. When was that? His best season ever was 12.5 sacks in his second year. He's played a complete season 3 of his 8 years. He's missed over half the season in 3 of his 8 years. The other two seasons he missed 5 and 6 games. He's a B+ player when he's healthy playing at his absolute best.
  11. Would have looked better in white. Our red helmets were trash though.
  12. Maybe the most overhyped EDGE in the league. When the dude isn't hurt, he's often getting bullied. I wouldn't take him over prime Jerry Hughes.
  13. I think we'd be in the same general vicinity but we'd drop half a tier. We would have lost some games we won, but we still would have racked up division championships. We wouldn't have gone on a 6 game win streak like we did last year, but we wouldn't have lost a bunch of those early season games either. We'd have less playoff wins, but the same amount of Super Bowl rings. Slightly higher floor, a lot lower ceiling
  14. My favorite gift was the sound of silence when I awoke, because there aren't any kids here.
  15. If he has to be in the NFL, I'm just glad he's not playing for us.
  16. The dropoff between A and B is too extreme by these definitions, imo. He drafts quality NFL-caliber players with regularity - much like his predecessor did. The difference is he got Josh Allen. Outside of Allen though, his ability to identify and acquire elite performers has been limited. He also seems to have significant alignment problems with the coaching staff when acquiring talent that goes underutilized. I would give him a B while still saying he's a top 10 GM.
  17. Thanks for fixing this once and for all.
  18. I have Hamler as a stronger consideration than Hollins as we don't have a kick returner on the roster right now. They have Shakir penciled in on the official depth chart right now, but I'd be floored if that's the plan as I expect him to be a massive part of the offense. Hamler has experience doing it in college and a handful of tries in the pros. If he makes the roster, i expect it to be for that reason. If he's not the KR, Then I think they keep shorter instead. I understand Hollins plays a different role than MVS, but signing MVS will likely reduce the opportunities that Hollins would get on the roster. in 6 professional seasons, Hollins has 1 year exceeding 251 yards receiving. I just think even a reserve should have a higher floor than that. I understand that the front office thinks that Trent Sherfield role is important, but there has to be a limit. It would be great is a guy could block, play special teams and actually contribute on offense if needed. I'm hoping Shorter (or even one of the UDFAs) is that guy
  19. I think Hollins lost his job with the MVS signing. I'd expect him to be released and added to the practice squad. 1. Coleman 2. Shakir 3. Samuel 4. Shorter 5. Scantling 6. Claypool/Hamler
  20. I mean, Brazil uses green in the jerseys for their national team. How is this any different than Green Bay?
  21. Sure, and I'd trade Von Miller for a 1st and Justin Jefferson too. Do career backups on vet minimum deals get traded for 4th round picks?
  22. for what, a 6th round pick? No thanks - not unless they plan to cut him. When Harbaugh was last int he NFL he was an elite coach, which he then repeated in the 3rd consecutive situation at Michigan. I'm not looking to help them out at all unless we get helped significantly more.
  23. I don't love that adjective. Is that because our other guys are underperforming, or because claypool is blowing the doors off? Guessing it's the former, as "consistent" is rarely a descriptor you use if someone is crushing it.
  24. i would let him walk unless he takes a bargain deal under $6m aav. I only want to pay backs that are special, and I don't think he is.
  25. I think Olsen was elite. Top 10 all time TDs, receptions and yards. Not in the category of Gronk, Kecle and Gonzalez, but those are your top 3 all time in no particular order.
