  1. I think 4 or 5 people ended up tying for first and he dropped to like 6th place tied with a bunch others so he walked away with a little over 3k.
  2. Josh is pretty witty and quick thinker...You can see some indecisiveness at times like when he takes bad sacks but overall he took what the Dan Patrick gave em. Good job out there today Josh! 😂
  3. Yeah read this earlier...what a heartbreaker. No way I would have told family and friends immediately after. All fantasy folks know stat corrections happen. In 2014 I won a championship off a stat correction. They guy who thought he beat me talked all sorta smack in the group thread. Gotta be patient when scores are close!
  4. Figured what out? From the first part of your statement Im assuming you know that any success you have against an 0-7 team doesnt prove you figured anything out.
  5. How is this the biggest of your concerns? If he were 100% healthy with no catches this still shouldnt be your biggest concern.
  6. Hey screw you pal! 😂 And I'm almost back to even after hitting on 3 three team parlays last weekend! I'm done betting on the Bills this season. I went years without doing it. Best to keep emotion away from gambling decisions. I do very well overall and almost 100% on bets when I'm as confident as I was with that 15k bet. How humbling an experience that was. Shout out to whatever mod deleted my thread!
  7. I don't think he should have cause he missed 2 of them. 75% isn't that good.
  8. Why would you be surprised. All reports said he looked good before injury with the saints. So just assume after the injury he can't heal up effectively and contribute or even be good enough for the active roster even tho their WR corp is highly suspect?
  9. Yeah no point in killing the young guy's confidence. He is a liability out there. And if his play has nothing to do with an injury...hate to say but Edmunds is a likely bust. Only hope would be to move em to the outside and see what happens.
  10. ...to their practice squad. Dez really benefitted from the new Covid PS rules. Of course if he still has anything left, he'll be promoted rather quickly. With Ravens severely lacking in WR production, this signing could have a sizeable impact on their offensive versatility when and if we meet them in the postseason. I always liked Dez. His passion scares alot of people cause he is big and aggressive with it, but I always felt he got a bad rap and deserved another shot in the league if he got himself back healthy enough. Im rooting for the guy except when we face them. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30202690/source-baltimore-ravens-signing-dez-bryant-practice-squad
  11. "Bro we both can't keep picking Rock"
  12. Crazy how people hold this high bar for Duke who was a rookie playing in like his 5th or 6th game and 1st playoff game....he drips a pass and now he isn't a NFL level WR. Like he didn't have a 100 yard game in what...like his 4th or 5th time being active???? You guys who count a guy out for rookie mistakes are the ones who suck. And don't bring up CFL which is really glorified division 1 football with different rules. He was still a rookie last year and had very few first team reps heading into thos last few weeks of last year.
  13. For some reason I wanna say I remember Duke taking a few TE reps at camp a few years back. Kinda like a let's see what you could do type of thing.
  14. Unless Beane makes some seriously magical roster moves, no way a rational fan can think this team is a SB or bust team. Winning our first playoff game in a quarter century is in now way a busted season. We are still a few pieces away. And I say that assuming Josh continues his overall improvement and doesn't regress or become stagnant in his growth.
  15. Interesting take. O'Brian is slightly better than a .500 coach for his career. He did make the playoffs 4 put of his last 6 years but 2 of those berths was after a 9-7 season. So he won double digit games only twice in his 6 year coaching career (2 out of 7 if you count this season) meanwhile McCarthy won double digit games 8 out of his last 13 years. So your opinion of O'Brien being a "much better" coach is a very questionable take. As far as Jones wanting O'Brien, I don't see that either. Why would he want a .500 career coach who wants to make personel moves? Jerry likes his coaches to be happy that he buys the groceries. Don't see the fit you do. Maybe you can break it down better for us since you decided to start a whole thread about it.
  16. Don't forget the dropped INTs
  17. He no longer has to be great. He got his money. I love Tre and sucks to say that but at this point thats how it seems. Playing some of your worst ball immediately after the big pay day isnt a good look.
  18. Completely out of any MVP talks Josh goes. All the narratives continue.
  19. Coaches have to know their players. That reaction may be more effective for Poyer.
  20. I love this happened and hope it somehow has a positive effect on the guys just because I want us to be great like any other fan...I guess whatever works. BUT honestly if it did impact them in any recognizable way, which I doubt, that would be very very sad and discouraging. When you are putting below average play on tape, that should be enough motivation to do better. If some comments by a reporter is more motivation than watching your collective sub par play in Monday meetings...thats a damn shame. Again, I don't believe this to be anywhere near the case.
  21. Yup...he said it without saying it. They worked a deal out which included the Bills organization trademarking it. Now they can control how its used and presented. Seems like an old case of if you can't beat em join em. They know they can't stop the term from being used so deciding to take some control over it is smart. Way too many people in here jump to conclusions. A move like this would be thoroughly thought out by multiple people much more qualified than us. Why sit back and assume the Bills made a terrible decision based off how things look on the surface before hearing from the other side??
  22. Here I am. Yes I look like a huge fool. All good though. I'm down almost 10k on the season. I'm certain I'll make it up over the next few weeks. Ha...funny...not even close tho....$15k doesn't mean the same for everyone. Yup...all my fault the Bills lost by 4 TDs. If I only woulda bet much less or not posted about. Sorry fellas!
  23. Welp I guess the powers to be deleted my $15k bet thread but I just decided I'm going to donate $1k of my winnings to the foundation of today's best Bill. If they don't have one it'll go to Josh's (who will likely be player of the game anyhow)
  24. Josh is playing better than Mahomes this season. With that said, when judging who won trade, Josh shouldn't be in the equation imo. He wasn't part of the trade. KC ended up with a player who won MVP his first year starting in the league. Then followed it up with a ring and SB MVP the next season. Add on top the clear fact that Mahomes ceiling is GOAT...KC has forever won the trade and its not even close. But considering how things ended up for us so far...WHY CARE?!?!?
