No fans? NYS has apparently released guidelines
StHustle replied to The Firebaugh Kid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Preseason starts next month. Not sure what magic potion you think will clear things up by then where allowing a stadium of people to sit, stand and jump around yelling and screaming around each other for hours would be responsible decision making. -
No fans? NYS has apparently released guidelines
StHustle replied to The Firebaugh Kid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep, it's now OFFICIAL. No fans at New Era this year. Which means the NFL must ban fans at ALL stadiums. Would be unfair if teams in certain states could have their fans attend home games. -
All you people thinking Cam is done are wildly mistaken. A healthy Cam is much better than Brady was last year. How did the Pats do with Brady last year? Don't underestimate this signing. It clearly makes Pats the favorites again. With that said, we can still win the division but it just go at least 10X harder.

Slavery Ended 150 years ago. GET OVER IT!

We are discussing race here. Its racist because I pointed out his race of because I said he was intelligent? -

Hard to embrace the truth when it doesnt comfort you or goes against false beliefs that have been ingrained in your soul. I know. -
Many claim it but for those willing to learn based on INDISPUTABLE FACTS and not OPINION. Broken down perfectly by an intelligent white man.

Where do the Bills fall? Does it matter? No! But it kinda does. Gives us something to pick apart as the longest offseasons in NFL history continues. https://www.espn.com/nfl/insider/story/_/id/29323823/2020-nfl-roster-rankings-all-32-teams-ravens-first-jaguars-last Ok, now someone with an Insider account work your magic below ???

When did this happen? I remember we put in a waiver claim for the kicker we cut in preseason but when did we bring another kicker in for a tryout? But yes after that waiver claim attempt he was on fire. Was pretty obvious had we won the claim who was gonna be cut to open up a roster spot. I loved how he responded. I thought Haus was signed Beanes first year. Pretty sure he wasnt a Bill before that season. I see most people are rooting for the rookie. Me? I wanna see Haus have a great year. Rookies are just too unpredictable when that pressure hits. As a playoff team, would you rather have a vet or a rookie taking that kick in January down by 2 with a minute left on the clock???

Dallas 175 million 5 year offer to Prescott
StHustle replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some TERRIBLE takes on Dak in here. Do you guys actually watch him play? He is better than any QB the bills had the past 20 years INCLUDING Josh Allen (hopefully Josh passes him this year) But no way do you let a QB that good walk nor do you trade him. They could EASILY go a decade before getting another QB ass good or better... -
Please let me know after watching if anything shocked you. I would love an honest take. 1. It's perfectly fine in my book if you make an impact by simply not adding to the problem. I understand what you mean about not being vocal or overtly involved because that's probably not your personality. What I do ask is that you dont look the other way if you witness a racist situation. Silence is compliance. If you are against racism, let it be known when racists get too comfortable around you and feel it's ok to express their hateful and damaging views. If you can muster it, call them out on their very knowledge of racial history in America and let them now that racism is ignorant. I seldomly hear any black person express negative views about white people outside of communicating their anger towards oppression. It almost always stems from that...feeling like we dont get treated equally. But in the rare cases I hear true racist remarks I always say something. There are plenty of good white folks in this country and many are simply miseducated by design so they can feel ok with accepting the racism that gets passed down from generation to generation. Nobody comes out the womb a horrible person. They are taught that. I can understand the position of a young racist who was raised by ignorant parents. The same system that is the primary culprit to black people feeling like we dont get the same fair shake because of the color of our skin, is the same culprit system that feeds into the white supremacist mindsets that racists have. But once you become a full blown adult its WAKE UP TIME. No more excuses for being however you were raised. Eventually you have to think for yourself and not like your parents and make the needed adjustments. It's hard for me to watch the absolutely horrific way your race treated mine for hundreds of years and accept the idea that white people are just a naturally evil and hateful race. Its not even human to be able to commit the acts that were committed, many times in mob settings by groups of whites who would murder blacks for the pettiest of offenses, and go home and sleep well at night. That's taught! 2. These are the labels created by your people and is what simply has become the official way we describe each other. I'm not too fond of it either but it is what it is. I dont see that ever changing. Bottom line here is problems dont fix themselves. They also dont dissapear by being ignored. There has never been a time in history where the US government collectively shown interest in truly ending systemic oppression. That documentary breaks it down beautifully. But just know...we dont have to wait around for the government to do anything. WE THE PEOPLE force the change!!!

I don't like either candidate but will vote for the lesser of two evils. Trump is only good for economic reasons. He is an EPIC FAIL in just about every other area. I wont sacrifice those other areas for the sake of a better economy than Biden can manage. BTW. I am what you'd likely consider a "successful black man" making multiple six figures a year and living in a suburban neighborhood of Charlotte, NC. But I was born in the ghettos of Buffalo and have MANY first hand experiences to draw on. My mom joined the military when I was 3 and I lived the Army brat life until 12 when I went to live back in Buffalo until graduating with honors from Hutch Tech with a NYS Regents diploma and going on to study Civil Engineering ate RIT. I have a VERY DIVERSE group of friends and very knowledgeable on the experience of different races of Americans. I used to push this conversation in group settings throughout college and long after. Many of you who speak from your soap boxes of ignorance are CLUELESS of the black experience in America. All you know is what the media and the government feeds you. You are brainwashed. But guess what??? Seek and ye shall find. There are PLENTY of resources out there exposing the truth but many of you hide from and/or discredit it when you are forced to face it! . Many of you will refuse to acknowledge the might coincidence that once black people gained the rights to vote, the black incarceration rate SOARED. The laws which "freed us" always contained loopholes to allow the oppression to continue and the numbers prove those loopholes were weaponized throughout the past century PLUS and continue to be weaponized today! Here is a quick vid for those in here actually wanting to learn the TRUTH

That was a SMALL point from the documentary. I love how now '30 years' is a long time. I say this to the crowd who love to point out how long ago slavery ended as if politicians and presidents hasn't carried on very intentional and BLATANT systemic oppression of black people for another century plus after. My question to you is WHEN DID THIS STOP???? At what point in American history did the US government wipe its self clean of this FILTHY and EVIL behavior? It hasnt! It has gotten better BUT STILL EXIST. Its a slow roll cause of so many still in the mind frame as many in this thread. Unwilling to admit its existence. Im proud of the millions of white people who have woken up this year and ready to force the changes needed!!!
-
Gotta love how people will deflect and consider the imperfect use of grammar the bigger issue than social injustice. Very very sad. Anything to redirect attention from the truth.

AGAIN mixing the point! I refuse to believe you all are this damn simple! Its not about specifically what he said regarding cutting taxes. That was a snippet to show the way he thinks. His strategy involved covert black oppression tactics. You should be ashamed for intentionally choosing to ignore what that audio clip shows and minimizing it. That is the problem with race relations in America today. THAT WAY OF THINKING. BLINDERS ON! IGNORE CLEAR RACIST AGENDAS! MAKE EXCUSES! TURN AND LOOK THE OTHER WAY. WAKE UP!!!!
-
Amazes me how two, probably at minimum, somewhat intelligent people can listen to that audio, where in the beginning Atwater clearly says that in the 50's you could be overtly racist by saying"n*gger, n*gger, n*gger" but then later it isnt accepted anymore so you come up with ways to covertly pass the same message. He parallels that with ways to covertly still negatively impact blacks. THIS IS JUST A SMALL SNIPPET BUT SHOWS HOW THE MAN THINKS. He was explaining his "Southern Strategy" Its AMAZING I have to break that down to two adults and Im sure I'll come across plenty of the same "that audio shows nothing" type of rhetoric from those who love to keep the blinders on. All of a sudden your brain cant put things together and unless you see a video of an indisputable act, you'll make excuses and try to justify or minimize it. SMH

Ahh yes the reverse racism card. I can lay out all the facts and evidence of an actual real racist system at play and will be accused of being a racist myself for doing so OR for calling a spade a spade. For you to feel the need to respond to this thread that's discussing very real, very evil, very sensitive subject matter and say "Oh the guilt!!! Not!" is clearly some racist pos type of stuff. Not calling YOU that but that action definitely was. I hope you are just an ignorant little kid being immature.
-
So a video of the campaign strategist of an eventual president expressing tactics of how law can be used to hurt black people mean nothing to you. That is a clear indication of willful ignorance. You can hear or see factual evidence but will willingly play dumb like your brain cant process what you actually just saw or heard. Dismiss it as nothing. You see a video of a young black boy feeling the need to have to hide his very existence as police ride by.......and you blow it off as no big deal, or some sort of delusion that we have created on our own due from years of justifiable police actions. So at least 1 of 3 things apply to you: 1. You are ignorant of the facts, refuse to learn and enjoy shutting down the idea that the facts exist to make you feel better about yourself 2. You know the facts but feel like "they aren't that bad" which shows the type of person you are Someone like you would never sit through an American history documentary such as 13th. You cannot handle the truth. The lie works better for you so you choose the blue pill. Yes most racists feel no guilt about their feelings. That is an important ingredient to allow them to sleep at night after treating another race of human beings like animals all day.

This depicts our reality. Im 37 and even as a youth i remember feeling this exact same way as this little boy:

Here is just a TINY nugget from the documentary. Listen to Lee Atwater, RONALD REGAN'S CAMPAIGN STRATEGIST caught on tape. This is not ancient history folks, dont be ignorant and think this same thinking isnt being applied even today. This is proof the politicians are very cognizant of needing to mask the oppressive system best they can but still carry on the American Way that has existed for centuries:

**IF YOU ARE WHITE AND THINK SYSTEMIC RACISM IS A MYTH, GO WATCH THE NETFLIX DOCUMENTARY '13TH'. ITS FILLED WITH VERIFIABLE FACTS THAT WILL FINALLY OPEN YOUR EYES & ITS MAINLY TOLD BY WHITE PEOPLE. HERE IS A SHORT ONE MINUTE CLIP ** Many whites become uncomfortable with giving any sort of thought that their country isnt the squeaky clean 'Home of the Free' and 'Greatest Country on Earth' that they want to believe it to be. I wanted to get the ALL CAPS info out first because many wont make it through this entire post. In fact, I have probably already lost a decent percentage. This is for the people who want TRUTH. The REAL, unadulterated TRUTH. Not some conspiracy theory, or something made up in peoples heads, but actual factual information that any intelligent being would digest and reach the same conclusion that once you realize the way America has done black people throughout history, coupled with the number of old white men still in power, one can only surmise that it would be near impossible to claim that all remnants of black oppression has been cleaned from law and a system designed with holding back the black man in mind. BUT FIRST YOU HAVE TO LEARN WHAT HISTORY CLASS WOULDNT DARE TEACH YOU!!!! So at this present time of a sudden awakening of my white brethren...many white folks I associate with have reached out to me after seeing my Facebook posts (which basically called out any white people I know to choose a side, either commit to being a part of the problem or the solution) and would ask what they can do to be part of the solution. I tell all of them the same thing; "Go watch the Netflix documentary '13th' and come back and tell me what you think." I must say...Im SHOCKED but yet not at all surprised the number coming back to me saying they had no idea about most of what happened. As a black man, who grew up with parents who forced me to learn the REAL HISTORY of America, I am just now fully realizing that most white people my age and younger are mostly CLUELESS about the real history of this country as it relates to its dealing with my people. This has caused me to have an epiphany...many white folks I once deemed racist are actually just ignorant. They have been fooled and miseducated by the same system designed to oppress black people in this country. I challenge all white people who have a hard time believing the claims of black people about what we deal with in a society as a whole to watch this documentary. Realize why black people, especially black men were intentionally criminalized in the media and intentionally skewed data. But that only if you want real truth. Those who wish to remain in their comfort zone of ignorance will do so regardless, and thats the worst type of racist of them all. (sorry for any typos or grammar mistakes, I normally proof read posts this long but its too late for that. Im sure you get my point)

Guess you read my post how you wanted to read it. Brees doesnt fall under the category I spoke of. Im talking about the people willing to abandon and boycott all of football because the league wont FORCE players to stand for the anthem. People who disagree with kneeling, that's fine. But when you HATE to see people exercise their rights so much that you are wiling to alter your life and not watch football, you are a hypocrite and lost likely a supremacist imo.
-
Actually plenty people have woken up. I have been to protests where over 50% were white people. You will always have those who refuse to be understanding at all costs. But I think your pre 2020 assertion is wrong here. After this mass awakening people will appreciate the peaceful demonstrations. Those who hate these demonstrations so much to the point they'll miss a season of their favorite sport are extremely un-American! And if that includes you wppete, take a long look in the mirror. At least be honest with yourself. I can respect the white supremacist who is in touch with reality and will admit who they are. Those who hide behind BS excuses on why they have certain views, those who refuse to wake up and see things clear in 2020, those willing to boycott a sport they love most cause some players feel an overall mistreatment of their people and decide to silently and peacefully protest during a time where a song is playing touting America as a place its not for US, you people are the worst type of racist imo (not saying necessarily YOU, but if the shoe fits...) the type who refuses to acknowledge they actually HATE freedom for all!

I am also a successful black business owner in America. But I am not going to act as if systemic racism isnt alive and well because I overcame. I am a Hutch Tech and RIT grad but from one of the most infamous neighborhoods on Buffalo's east side. I made some bad decisions and became a felon sentenced to 2 years in prison for possession of marijuana back in 2010. Yet I overcame. Why? Because I had 2 great parents (one a retired Army major and the other a retired NYS Corrections officer) who taught me valuable lessons I chose not to use until my back was against the wall, an ex felon with few options at making a living. The point I am making is the PARENTS aspect. I am extremely blessed to have had 2 great parents. This is very rare in the ghettos of America. Its easy to look at people in theses ghettos and blame them for their positions but if you understood the history behind it and the American system designed by pure racists to keep the black man down, you'd recognize a game with the deck totally stacked against us. Please take a sec to watch this short video and maybe you can gain some insight:
