https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/29307489/texans-jj-watt-says-taking-knee-american-flag Not sure a head coach has kneeled with players during the anthem. Interesting. I love to see that Watt get it. I'm really interested to see how the board would feel if McDermott announced he would kneel with his players. I personally would love to see it as long as he truly wants to protest the American government, but not if he is simply doing it to build some sort of stronger report with the players.

If you are truly have good intentions with that avatar, maybe consider choosing a different avatar that would actually communicate good intention. You get questioned about it all the time, clearly rubbing people the wrong way and yet you consider it a positive? The road to epic failure is littered with people who had good intentions.

EXACTLY, they are willing to sacrifice the safety of the people in the name for standing up for each other. The suspended officers were wrong for pushing the elderly man. Grab him and put him in cuffs. They just wanted to push him out their way. That CANT be protocol. If I were an officer I may be disappointed they got suspended but I would stand by my oath to protect and serve. In no way was resigning keeping their oath in mind. It was ONLY keeping their fellow officers best interest in mind and thats a damn shame. BUT can we please keep this thread more about the fact Josh came out with this statement? I think it actually means something about our team leader. Some will agree with me and feel its a positive, others wont like it one bit. I made this thread to discuss that moreso the 57 officers...

I understand that, They resigned from the Unit created to keep the protests in order. You dont see an issue with that? In fact, let me stop responding to you. Im tired of seeing your damn Avatar every few minutes. For you to glorify that is beyond me. Im fine with a difference of opinion but thats an all out troll move.

You are totally MISSING THE POINT. Their union?!?!? Ar you serious? Cops have a SWORN OATH POSITION. You don't resign at a time you are needed most over some bogus crap like that. If their union is that terrible that they would refuse legal help to them during marches then sounds like they need to come together and demand change. You don't abandon your post! Josh was right...anyone who would do that DOES NOT DESERVE TO WEAR A UNIFORM!

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2895823-bills-josh-allen-57-buffalo-police-who-resigned-dont-deserve-to-be-with-unit I totally agree with Josh's position. The police's allegiance is supposed to be to protect and serve their communities FIRST not to stand up for each other. To resign in the middle of the largest scale civil unrest in decades is absolutely reprehensible and imo shows the exact gang mentality police tend to have that cause problems like them not intervening when one of them is clearly doing the wrong thing. I LOVE OUR QB! To me a great trait of a leader is to not shy away from making strong comments even when it could piss off those in authority. Thoughts on our QB making this statement?

Josh Allen meets with media 6/11
StHustle replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does that include the monthly ad checks too? LOL j/k I actually salute the way this board is ran. I may not agree with everything but its impossible to keep everyone happy 100% of the time and Im in that group. I feel the vast majority of posters would agree with my sentiments. You'll always have that faction of miserable people who complain about everything and this board is just in their path. Back to the topic: I felt Josh was honest and sincere in his statements about the racial stuff. As far as what we are here for, the football stuff, I loved him saying he wont become Captain Checkdown. I think we already know thats not in his DNA but I still love to hear it directly addressed. We have endured too many Captain Checkdown years and verbal reassurance is always good. -

Is now the time to remove OJ Simpson from the wall of fame and HOF?
StHustle replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
It will always amaze me that people want action taken on a man found Not Guilty....not a hung jury...NOT GUILTY. You know what that means? ALL 12 JURORS VOTED NOT GUILTY. Yes 12 out of 12. How can you justify removing a man on the basis he did something that he proved he didnt? Whether he actually did it or not doesnt matter. You cant go assume he did based on some personal opinion or even the court of public opinion. He was found not guilty in a real court!!! Attempting to take your stuff back from a bunch of scumbags in Vegas was illegal cause of how he did it but that crime isnt worthy of removal. Nobody was hurt and it was property that belonged (whether past or current at that time) to him. Any sensible person could understand his actions on that day minus the guns his friends brought. OJ should always remain. He is a top 3 RB in history and best Bills RB ever. Thats what we celebrate. Are we really gonna have a lifetime disciplinary action system for players we put on the wall? -
Drew Brees: Controversial comments
StHustle replied to billrooter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First of all I was making an analogy. Yes we are no longer being whipped by slave owners but what does that correlate to today? There are many ways that we have continually been "whipped" in the 150 years since. And we dont all have to have had that personal experience of dealing with extreme racism to have witnessed it or know it exist and feel some type of way about it. Meanwhile, what historically can white people say we have done to them to deserve the amount of hatred we receive from the racists on their side? 1865? Are you educated on what came to follow after slavery ended? The laws set in place to continually oppress people of color? Then after the overt laws were repealed, the covert laws and systems set in place after that to continue the oppression? It's easy for the people who don't deal with this to ignore it and make themselves believe it doesn't exist. And where do you get the idea that the "vast majority of white Americans today did not have descendants that were slave owners" ??? Did they die off I'm some point? Im confused why you believe that "vast majority" statement. -

For you to say you "have no idea" where I get that from is very telling. I don't want to derail this thread with indirectly related subject matter but feel free to message me for a healthy conversation. Or maybe we can hold a public discussion in the PPP forum. Have a great night. -
Drew Brees: Controversial comments
StHustle replied to billrooter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe this will help you understand a tad better. I am a black man. Im 37 and spent my whole life in America. EVERY TIME I am around my fellow black people and negativity is spoken against white people, it's in regard to OPPRESSION in one way or another. ALWAYS. Literally 100% is is anger filled speech about us being done wrong. Now let's look into hate speech from white people about blacks? MUCH DIFFERENT. We are viewed as inferior humans if even considered a human at all. Many look at us as animals. You are white and I dont need to go into any further detail because you know exactly what Im talking about. What you call 'racism' from black people is born out of anger from white racism. Therefore they can NEVER be considered the same thing. Many whites love to believe its the same to help them feel better about themselves. Last thing to ponder, and I would like your honest feedback. When a black man in slavery times, was just lying helpless and bleeding on the ground, gets up and goes to the other slaves and expresses hatred for the white man who just beat him with the whip, is that not reasonable? Is it the same as the white slave owner who goes back in the house to share a chuckle with his wife on how he just had the n****** squirming and screaming? -
Jake Fromm: Controversial comments
StHustle replied to Elite Poster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Won't be awkward cause Fromm will have to be cut. But from what I read, Fromm never said only elite white people should have guns, but rather only elite whites should have suppressors which is implying that non-elite whites and all other races should not allowed to have those. That's racist and classist (and classless) and is a problem. I have no issue with it as a private joke to a friend (although not funny at all) but unfortunately for him it didnt remain private and now he must be cut. Too divisive of a statement for him to remain on the team. -
Then sounds like his girlfriend is doing a good job so far...

Allen passing to Diggs connection looking strong already!!!!
StHustle replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ha! No just someone who is a diehard Bills fan I witnessed start out with a camera and a dream. Would spend his last dollar to make it out to a road game and spend hours to get in position for the ***** he needed. Fast forward a couple years, he is now a team insider and go to photographer for even many Bills players personal engagements. Just an awesome story and wonderful thing to witness happen for a guy who truly deserves it. -

I would take Clowney on this defense for sure! Give him $15 million on a 1 year deal. If he truly believes in himself he would know he could come here and SHINE then command what he really wants next year. To me, this would be a perfect storm for him. Top rated defense, great D line already, playoff team who just upgraded their roster. A no brainer. I think adding Clowney would push us over the top. Fresh legs ALL game attacking the passer. We would give nightmares to every O Coordinator we face!

The Draft is a total crap shoot...

Really? This is news to me. Can you provide a few examples cause most hold outs Im aware of are between players and the team who drafted them. -
What if #BillsMafia was like the real Mafia?
StHustle replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually the Bill's fanbase doesn't look bad at all. We are highly respected and considered a top fanbase and the name Bills Mafia looks bad to who? Old "get off my lawn!" guys who nobody wants to hear the opinion of. -
Josh pretty much outshined the other 2 in all ways possible. I loved the line where he said playing video games is the only thing Darnold is better than him at. His charisma was on point as always and he had the better answers to Romos questions. Jish is an easy guy to fall in love with. . SIDEBAR I didnt realize how much of a punchable face Romo has. That smirk he was doing almost the whole show got really annoying by the halfway mark.
