  1. This is why we can’t have nice things.
  2. I respectfully disagree. Here's what 2 bye weeks means for me: Negotiating power with the players union. If you give them an extra bye, you can probably ask for an 18th game. Less injuries because players aren't pushing their bodies for consecutive weeks (imagine a week 4 bye and long playoff run) Less random performance impact from early vs late bye weeks. 2 more weeks of NFL football. Just because your team isn't playing doesn't mean the league stops. It's a no brainer and it's already been discussed in recent ownership meetings.

  4. Am I the only person who thinks the comparisons to Kraft and Kraft's punishment are a little ridiculous? Robert Kraft went to a rub and tug, where they sell sex from sex workers, and he bought himself some sex. Deshaun Watson called up massage therapists, not sex workers, and [allegedly] forced himself upon them. That is not the same thing.
  5. Check this link out: Travel from Ft. Lauderdate to Miami for Bills Game
  6. Terry and Kim Pegula saved the Bills from leaving when the team was up for sale in 2014. This sounds like a bad joke, but the other two highest bidders were Bon Jovi, who wanted to move the team to Toronto (and got caught lying about it), and Donald Trump, who I’m sure would have tried to maximize profits by relocating the team. Before that, no danger of the Bills ever leaving - loyal fans, relatively low stadium costs, 90 year old owner who built the team from scratch and never wanted them to leave. Fair question and anybody overreacting needs to chill out.
  7. .... not recently. They have all gotten smacked the past 6 months.
  8. Hate to say it, but this probably means it's Poyer's last season in Buffalo. Really happy to see him in mandatory OTA's and at this point I'm just praying he doesn't hold out during the regular season.
  9. I’m surprised this hasn’t been posted yet. Great interview between DaQuan and Jim Rome: His two reasons for joining the Bills: - Opportunity to win a championship - Time to come home (from Johnson City, NY) This was a sneaky good signing. Like a more consistent Star Lotulelei. Won’t show up on the stat sheet but he’ll help stop the run, eat up blockers to free up second level rushers, and best of all has a history of being AVAILABLE.
  10. Insane to see so many people picking Freddy Jackson and Marshawn Lynch over impact players at valuable positions. CB: Gilmore, Winfield, Clements, McGee LB: Fletcher, Spikes DE: Mario, Schoebel LT/RT: Jason Peters WR: Moulds, Evans, TO Good lord, pick any of those over a running back.
  11. Interior offensive line. Saffold is a beast, but he’s 33 and didn’t finish a ton of games last year due to shoulder injury and he has a long injury history. Morse is a beast, but he has a really concerning concussion history. Bates showed a lot of great flashes last year, but has only started 4 games. If Morse or Saffold go down, we have the same problems we had against the Jaguars on the IOL. Bates is still a huge question mark too.
  12. An emotional answer is yes. A rational answer is no. He played for the Bills for 4 seasons. He didn't even start 16 games for two of those seasons. He never took us to the playoffs. He was never a top 10 player at his position. Just because you like a player doesn't mean he should be honored as an all-time great.
  13. Have you ever worked for a corporation? When someone complains to HR about you, there are consequences. Do you think OJ Simpson would get to continue to work at Google? My man, you need to hit the pause button on this crusade and think about what you’re saying.
  14. “Tua ACTUALLY has one of the prettiest balls I’ve ever caught.” Players will never throw their QB under the bus, but that “ACTUALLY” tells you Hill knows exactly what’s up.
  15. I made a long thread detailing incidents where Bobby Johnson, our former O-Line, coach failed us. This year with Kromer, I think you'll see a big positive change. We might also finally get something out of Cody Ford. My guess is that's why we didn't address the Guard position in the draft. We might already have one and not know it.
  16. 1. QB 2. DE 3. LT 4. DE (again) 5. DT 6. RT 7. WR 8. CB A lockdown CB doesn't matter if they have all day to throw. A great WR will never get the ball if the QB doesn't have time to pass.
  17. Left Tackles and Interior Defensive Linemen are both generally higher paid than Corner... and probably affect the passing game as much. Personally, I'm not a big fan of saying "these 3 positions matter" or "these 4 positions matter." The one position that matters more than the rest is QB. Debating WR/LT/DT/DE/CB importance is far secondary and probably has little bearing on who actually wins the Super Bowl. I'm thinking specifically about the 20 years the Patriots competed for the SB, or KC, or GB.
  18. "Everyone was just going through the motions ... there was no attitude out there." Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Mongo.
  19. This ain’t Bills related and as much as we all detest the shooter, we don’t need to talk about him or his family on the Bills section.
  20. Found him: https://images.app.goo.gl/ce1YS3KjzaG9ovcA7 just a quiet dude who wants to chill. Let’s honor him and/or just let him chill.
  21. It's sad to see this guy turn into a punchline. Clearly he still loves some of our favorite players and he had all the talent in the world. Try not to forget: - His brother was murdered during Dareus's time on the Bills. - His father died when he was 6. - His mother was too sick to care for him and his siblings, so he lived with his coach, who was later killed in a car crash. - His mother then died when he was 20. It's tough not to hate him after he underperformed such a big contract, but the guy had a tough life and it clearly got the best of him. Important to keep that in mind, because I'm only seeing fat jokes and hate in the thread.
  22. Fast forward a few weeks: -Fully healthy Tre White -Likely the best #2 CB we’ve had in McDermott era -Dane Jackson as depth -Taron Johnson Where does Bradberry fit in? Salary cap is a limited resource… I would rather get a cheaper vet CB and save the rest in case we get an injury in camp… or even use that money on a Dawson Knox / Jordan Poyer extension. Bigger needs, in my opinion.
