  1. I think Shavers makes the team and Moore is toast.
  2. Exactly. As for the folks in NYC, we helped finance the state's $300m to build Citi Field so shove it.
  3. As long as the value of NFL franchises keep going up I wouldn't sell.
  4. He bought the Sabres for $189m. It's not valued at $1.1b. Why would he sell the team?
  5. I think he's basically saying he used some of the money he didn't have to use to build the stadium to buy a yacht. Some construe that as bad optics.
  6. The number one rule of getting public money for a stadium is never put it to a vote. It is what it is. I'm just happy the Bills are here for the rest of my lifetime.
  7. No because too many jobs are on the line when you swing for your franchise QB. If, for instance, the Giants, Steelers, or Colts thought he was their franchise guy then they would've pulled the trigger and drafted him in round 1. Once the QB needy teams decided he wasn't their franchise guy he fell because no team's want that much baggage with a backup. I won't parse words. Dickerson was lying.
  8. You want a general manager to be up against the cap each season to try and put the best roster around their elite QB. It just makes in season moves more difficult.
  9. He's started at least over 20 games for McDermott as the CB2. He's absolutely the next man up.
  10. He punched the pads on the stadium wall.
  11. Based off all the other beat reporter tweets Sal's seems to be more accurate.
  12. I hope he just rolled an ankle or something. Man that Hairston injury sucks even more now.
  13. Cooper only counted $806k towards the cap. Adams would've been $11.6m. We were tight against the cap like always and don't even know if it was possible to create that much money in restructuring just to get that trade through.
  14. So, 15% tax on European imports that we'll have to pay. Great job.
  15. It's interesting that McDermott changed his approach on Josh playing in the preseason. I'd prefer a few series to knock some rest off but I get it. It's a long season and the less hits he takes before week 1 the better.
  16. They are paid per diem and non veteran players make $2,000 a week in training camp. The team must also provide free food and housing. Not sure how they set up the housing aspect. The pitch by the team for someone like this is we'll give you an opportunity to show what you've got on film. Could lead to a practice squad spot somewhere in the league.
  17. I liked the part where Cook got the slow clap after he walked on the practice field after signing his contract.
  18. They're better than Gabe. Surer hands, better route runners, and at least Palmer can create more separation. Totally understand that trepidation. They signed Palmer to a decent sized contract. They invested a top 35 pick in Coleman. They should and will be the priority.
  19. I think it's pry from a week ago but yeah. It's all accounting though and doesn't mean much.
  20. If he were to play WR2 it would be a clear downgrade. However, he's an excellent WR4. He proved that his first two years here. That's all I'm assuming the role for him would be.
  21. Gabe just turned 26. The knee is my concern but he should be fully healed by now. If Beane believes he's an upgrade at the WR4 position then he'll sign him.
  22. Problem is he'd pry immediately get moved up to WR2 if there's an injury to Palmer or Coleman. In that case with Allen it would be like locking a recovering alcoholic in a brewery.
  23. I mean if you want to take a shot down the field in 13 personnel............would he be your best player on the current roster to run that route? His WR4 role was perfect four years ago.
  24. I prefer the earth is flat as it's more likely. Japan flew a long way to attack Pearl Harbor.
