    The fact that he left practice, didn't make the trip to Tampa, and then didn't practice is a huge concern imo. Dane Jackson and Jamarcus Ingram as our two starting corners is not ideal.

    A lot of Patriots fans are comparing it to the Lawyer Milloy release right before the start of the season. They seem baffled by it. He's obviously not as good as Milloy but he's not damaged goods either.

    I'm a little fuzzy on the rules here. If a team offered him a new multi year contract would the Patriots still be on the hook for all the guaranteed money they owe him? Basically, could Peppers double dip?

    If you subscribe to PFF. 82.3 overall PFF grade. 7th of 117 safeties. Pass coverage grade was 8th at 81.7. Run defense was 35th at 74.4.

    Surprised they couldn't find a trade partner for him. Just don't go to KC or Baltimore please.

    This and we would've had a lot of ammunition if we knew Parsons was available for a trade in March (a 1st, two 2nds, Cook and Rousseau on their rookie deals). Dallas dropped the ball here as they could've gotten a lot more for him in March including pieces that would've helped them compete this year.

    We are because of Allen but if Love plays like he did in the back half of 2023 they have as good of shot as we do. Parsons isn't Taylor yet but his ability to beat you in different ways with his freak athleticism makes me think he can at least come close.

    I wouldn't be as critical of him if it was three firsts and Kenny Clark before the draft because $47m per year when you're already paying Dak and Lamb is a lot. However, only getting two which because of Parsons will be in the final eight of the draft now the next two years most likely it's an awful deal.

    Not a great comparison. Patriots only beat them in two playoff games before he got his Super Bowl. Chiefs have beat us in four. I'm not sure there's ever been one team that beat another team in four of five years in the playoffs..

    It's not BS. Any chance they had of upgrading safety with a veteran was shot once free agency and the draft was over with. I thought they should've been in on Jevon Holland. If the Bills felt they needed to add a veteran safety for the practice squad there wasn't a better option at this point unless I'm missing somebody.

    I figured you couldn't come up with one. It's quite possible that Poyer was the best veteran safety on the market that wasn't on a team's 53 man roster already. Plus, he knows the playbook in Latin and you get the benefit of him teaching a guy who really needs it like Cole Bishop.
