I have been pleasantly surprised with Keon. Most of what people said about him being slow etc. had my expectations lowered. But he has made plays this year that I believe show a lot of promise. He certainly has a lot to improve, but I believe they are fixable. When they show his releases in that Steve Smith video, it would seem to me he just needs to simplify it, make one move and go. With his size and strength he should be able to win at the LOS. They even say he is more quick than fast which I do not think is a knock for someone his size. His RAC ability is good. Keon is someone we took for who he could be, not for who he is now, lets give him some time to get there.

Defense is crap, too much 3 point shooting makes for boring games to watch. They drive to the lane, if someone is in the way they kick it out for a 3, and will swing it around as needed. Not that much talent needed to do that. There isnt much showcasing of their talent anymore.

I am starting to think Red is a good recruiter but not a good coach.

It could also be so he plays it up to his teammates, that they see him playing "hurt" so it motivates them to fight through their ailments

Bobby April ran one where he lined them up on each side of the kicker close to him, then kicked it like that, gave more guys a chance to get to it, not sure why no one tries that anymore

Right now I am not a fan. Man to man defense isnt some complex thing, everyone plays it and has played it. We have big athletic people, man to man shouldnt be as difficult as we seem to make it. We need effort and buy in to be good defensively, which reflects on coaching imo.

At least Ohtani can pitch and hit, and Soto gets more? Horrible contract imo

Like he was so bad I felt like it had to be intentional. Every time he was near the ball it was bad. If he was not on the floor we win. Was a shame because there was such a good effort by so many players

I dont know about that either. I mean we have 3 playoff games and now 4 regular season games against these guys. I have to imagine we have seen most everything he would throw at us and if that is the case what is the point in holding back. The Chiefs win and they could have locked up the 1 seed, with how important that is, I doubt they would just be willing to throw that away.

We need UPL back bad, I have no confidence in Levi at this point. It was nice to see the Sabres be smart for once at the end of the game and just wait til OT to go on the PP instead of just rushing down to the other end. Not sure how long Tage is out, but need to scrape some points together until he gets back and this was a good start
