I actually think this should give the team some confidence going forward. It was a one goal game until late, they got down 2-0 after the first and tied it up in the second. Actually could have had another in the second period, where we shot it over the net. Quinn I think had a bad game, and Tage was not as sharp it felt like as in the last couple, and yet they were still there.

This would not be a Von Miller scenario. Garrett is 28 years old and was just DPOY. He is the exact type of player we would hope to draft high (we will never be high enough to draft one in Josh's era). He would change our defense for years. If he is actually available (I have doubts), you make this work imo

I am aware it is unlikely, and I am not a McD hater like some. But if this season ends similarly to those of years past, I think I would take him over McD. Gives us continuity on the offensive side with Josh (by not having to change systems during his tenure), with being a good culture guy as well. Could be the move needed to get us over the hump a la Gruden replacing Dungy
