Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams
LABILLBACKER replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, so far we're doing a stellar job of developing Samuel, Hollins and MVS? I'm so sick of going "garage sale" on wrs. We were willing to make a big time defensive splash on Von and that didn't pan out like we hoped. Besides Diggs (who became a cancer), name me 1 big splash offensive player we've acquired since drafting Josh. Give your generational superstar the player he deserves, before he's too old. -
What’s up with the bills usage of Kincaid?
LABILLBACKER replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
This organization has got to identify future allocation better and stop with the ridiculous extensions. We extended Knox then rarely use him. We extend Bass after a mediocre season. We sign guys like Hines, Harty & Samuel only to completely ignore them. Do they like wasting money or this this just a systematic failure in player usage? -
Hamlin has no business being a starting FS in the NFL.

Signed......Marty Schottenheimer

So far nothing remarkable from Ray...

That's flat out embarrassing

Brandon McManus reinstated - Bass replacement?

He shouldn't even have gotten retained this season if it wasn't for that stupid extension. -
Monday Night Games - Miami/Titans/Lions/Seahawks

So that's what a successful trick play looks like. I wouldn't know, I'm a Bills fan. -

I'd kill to give Josh a guy like Metcalf. -
Hamlin is awful. McDermott has to get over his stubborn tendencies with rookies and get Bishop in there.

Belichick always adjusted after every drive. Not every quarter or half. That's the difference between good HC's and HOF head coaches. That epic fail trick play may go down in Bills history as the worst ever. You had to be drunk to draw that up. Van Noy single handedly stopped Samuel & Josh.

And let's not kid ourselves. Hamlin & Rapp are NOT starting safeties. Douglas played poorly last night, as did our DL. We obviously miss Taron, Matt & Terrel desperately. The inconsistencies of our DL and Sean's incessant rotation are so frustrating. That Brady epic FAIL trick play not only destroyed any chance to rally but it damn near ended Josh's season. I'm never going to ask Sean or Joe to be like Andy or Spags. But just don't lose a game on collective stupidity and a lack of motivation.

That debacle last night reminded me exactly of how we lost (got routed) by the Colts 44 games ago. It was the last time the Bills lost by more than 6 pts. We came out last night unmotivated and unprepared. That's a big coaching issue. I've never been a McD fan but was so hoping we could sustain focus. We've never started our obligatory mid season lull until October. Our defense is without veteran Safety leadership and our best LB is hurt again. There has to be a way to activate an up- tempo offense when the game gets out of hand like last night.

Brandon McManus reinstated - Bass replacement?
LABILLBACKER replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
The only thing that will help Bass would be his outright release. He is mentally done and he was last year at 82%. -
So far WR group looks like a dumpster fire
LABILLBACKER replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right now Samuel is closer to a PS player, because they're not playing him. I love the foundation of Kincaid, Shakir & Coleman. But I absolutely hate how useless Samuel, Hollins, MVS & Knox are. -
Yes one of the poorest jobs of coaching in Mc13's career. Brady better burn that play right out of the playbook. Almost got Josh killed. He still injured himself on that play. Definitely the worst designed trick play in Bills history.

And you can add Knox as nothing but an expensive glorified blocker. We have a total of 3 semi-reliable receivers. Kincaid, Shakir & Coleman, that's it. So we may want everyone to eat but after 4 games there's really only 3 plates at the table. Joe has more work ahead of him. -
9/29/2024 Bills @ Ravens post game thread
LABILLBACKER replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
We haven't used him in any way so far. Just another wasted contract like Harty & Hines. -
The throw to Shakir deserves its own thread
LABILLBACKER replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
The lack of separation in the 1st half was devastating. Josh had to basically throw 2 jump ball "back shoulders" to Keon just to get something downfield. This team doesn't need a chirping diva like Diggs but it definitely needs a speed wr. -

I have absolutely no problem how we're using Shakir, Kincaid & Coleman. It's the 4 some of Samuel, Hollins, MVS & Knox that are useless. Is it Brady not properly using them or is it something else? We still don't have a legit X speed guy on go routes. This is what happens when you draft just 1 wr.
