Bass struggling at minicamp (and now at training camp)
LABILLBACKER replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bass is a train wreck and the sooner you guys come to this obvious realization, the better. Eat that stupid extension and move on. -
There's a fine line between loyalty & stupidity.

How many of y'all drafted Shakir as your FF sleeper?
LABILLBACKER replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall
I got Shakir but just missed out on Kincaid. Khalil should have a good year. -

....and they did the exact same thing with Elam. They knew he was a man coverage guy, yet they still tried to put that square peg in the round hole. -
He fumbled alot at UCLA. We'll see what happens but he is tough to bring down.

I bet it has a sad ending....

All three of these guys at least had 1 season over 90%. Bass has had a couple at 87% and 2 seasons at 82%. If he drops below 80% this season, he's gone. With more anticipated defensive injuries expected this fall, we'll need every point we can get. -
Go BOLD - 2024 NFL bold predictions 2024
LABILLBACKER replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I could see all your Bills and non Bills predictions hitting with the exception of AJE. I just don't ever see him as a double digit sack guy. If anyone is surpassing the 10+ mark it will probably be Rousseau. I'm going to be very patient with Coleman and enjoy watching him develop chemistry with JA. -

Newsflash....Beane was more than aware of Diggs malcontent history before he traded for him, so yes some of this is on BB. -

With 1 min. left we're probably losing anyway with our useless playoff D. -
Yup, that's a pretty accurate timeline.

JA makes TB12’s and Manning’s top five QB list
LABILLBACKER replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brady immediately went to Josh after Mahomes. Peyton saying Herbert is kinda embarrassing. There's really only 4 top qbs in today's NFL. Mahomes, Allen, Burrow and Jackson in that order. Joe can't stay healthy and Lamar struggles in the playoffs. -
Completely agree. I was looking at it from a fan standpoint. Obviously Brady will determine his week1 pecking order based on the camp. I guess my personal frustration stems from a) having garbage backups throwing "quails" to your new group...b) a super vanilla play calling that equally gives us fans no clue what's going on with these receivers? I'll be glad when preseason drops to 2 games because we get nothing from them.

I'm confused....is the underwear injured? -
Exactly, you can find plenty of serviceable RBs after the 4th round. But wrs must be taken early. That 2nd round run on wrs happens every single year. Beane over values rbs and undervalued wrs. He has yet to draft a 1st round wr. Diggs was a traded established player. It's like he doesn't trust his own ability to evaluate / draft wrs?
-
We're never going to be able to evaluate any of these new wrs while Trubisky & DiNucci are on the field. It's basically pointless. And because we're terrified they'll get injured, we'll see them for just a few seconds over the span of 3 preseason games. By the time week 1 roles around, we'll have no clue what we have receiver-wise?

I'll start by saying I feel sorry for Josh. He's deserved better weapons around him in his career, like you see in KC, Cincy, Balt., Miami and SF. My excitement for this particular season has definitely diminished with all these early injuries. We gotta find a way or better conditioning regiment to reduce the injuries. But what do I know? Maybe Superman will rise above all this noise and pleasantly surprise us?

Most of the Bills' injuries have been on defense...Why is that?
LABILLBACKER replied to mannc's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can we just bubble wrap this whole f-ing team till week 2. -
The way I look at it, if we can keep Matakavich for multiple years and then pull Klein from his RV, we can surely find a roster spot for Buffalo Joe.

Receivers the Bills could go after?
LABILLBACKER replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
According to some on this board, even if we had drafted 2-3 wrs, they would likely have gotten injured too. So no matter what we did, we'd be screwed. -

You're right....they all would've gotten injured. -
Andreessen will make the team - UPDATE: he made it

The PS should be off the table unless you want to instantly lose him. -
At this point it doesn't matter anymore. This organization will continue to waste Josh and have an excuse ready and waiting. The Angels did the same with Trout & Ohtani.

If you could get a day 2 pick for Cook would you pull the trigger…
LABILLBACKER replied to julian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cook is no Thurman. Thurman could actually catch the ball.
