  1. We are definitely not winning more than 10-11 games this season. Our schedule is too tough and there's been too many players swapped out. The floor is around 8-9 wins. As @Shaw66 says we literally have "no idea"?
  2. Crime and a lack of punishment is rampant in California. Hope he recovers quickly.
  3. The winning combo will always be the holy trinity of Allen, Beane & McDermott in that order. Sean has his well documented flaws and he can't keep parading scapegoats out there forever. Brady & Babich will have to deliver. Beane will have to answer to establishing a below avg. WR room. 17 will have to be prepared to play slightly more conservatively and reduce the turnovers. If this team can minimize injuries they will win the AFCE.
  4. I've never once doubted McD's ability to develop corners & safeties. I'd love to see him turn Cine & Bishop into our previous pro bowl duo. But these guys aren't getting to Mahomes or disrupting him in the playoffs. Having a very good DB group is all good until Pat goes off script because we haven't had an elite or even top 10 pass rusher in the last decade.
  5. You are correct. Finding non diva elite wrs is tough but they do exist. Rice, Harrison, Andre Johnson, Megatron and even Justin Jefferson are out there. Coleman seems fun & grounded and hopefully he & Josh form a great chemistry.
  6. So true, we need a Chris Jones or elite pass rusher which Josh has never seed in his career. We need an elite wr who won't be a distracted diva. And we need a HC who doesn't make blunders. Do that in the 4th- UFA portion and we might finally win a SB. Josh can't do it alone.
  7. He's a quicker, faster and more athletic version of Beasley. After Kincaid, it wouldn't surprise me to see him be #2 in targets.
  8. Wow, some of you are generous. Considering half our defense will be injured by week 10 and the state our current wr room, I'm saying 9 tops.
  9. Is this an obvious transition year?....of course it is. I've never been a McDermott fan and probably never will but I'm willing to appreciate him allowing his OC/DC to run things this season. With lost leadership went older players that due to diminished production had to go. For Von it's put up or shut up. Our kicker and wr room will be a major concern all year and there's no one to blame but themselves. If we can't keep the defense healthy going into the playoffs, it's all moot anyway.
  10. I think the only reason he chose us is Addae. He'll be a nice SS insurance policy on the PS.
  11. And here's your winning answer.
  12. I have absolutely no confidence in any portion of our ST. Beane completely butchered not bringing in competition with Bass. I'm sure Martin will avg 40y/ kick or less. And God help our coverage teams when they're not committing penalties.
  13. I don't care if we do a mind melt on him to get every play in McDaniels book. He's still a slight upgrade over The Trub....
  14. What's our 4 year playoff defense dvoa? Just asking for perspective.
  15. Hardy's contribution for the Bills will most definitely be at DB. Hey it's the Bills, players drop like flies. There will be PS call ups....
  16. Yup....glad Davidson, Hardy & Gore landed on it. And they jettisoned DeShawn Williams who looked terrible in preseason. We got plenty of TE, RB & CB depth. And yes White will probably be slightly better than Mitch. WR room is still a huge ?
  17. Yeah the way Hardy played CB was definitely more impressive. It shouldn't be daunting to stick him on the PS.
  18. Like you said and I agree, depth doesn't mean squat if your depth guys are scrubs. Besides 17, this team has no star. It totally is a "quanity over quality" format and it's destroying any chance Josh has at going after a SB.
  19. Yeah, the only ones I care about is Gore, Hardy & Davidson. The rest you're on your own.
  20. Glad he made it. Now we can sit back and root for his success. Who knows how many more seasons we have with Milano. Bernard, Williams and Andreessen will make a nice young trio.
  21. Well if they want to ever win a SB they better be.
  22. I'm telling you and you can set your watch to it, Bass will absolutely break our hearts this year. The extension was stupid and premature. His mechanics are off. The yips are because he's lost confidence. McD already knows he can't count on him beyond 40 yards. That puts added pressure on Josh and the offense to convert more 4th downs. It's absolute organizational malfeasance to NOT bring in competition. He's gone from 87% to 82% and mark my words he'll wallow in the 70's this season.
  23. Complete malfeasance that no one has brought in competition with Bass. Oh well, enjoy watching a 60% kicker this year.
