These last 2 years I consider Tremaine as a huge SS. And wherever he ends up, that's the role that suits his skillset the best.

Beas will always be beloved in Buffalo. What he meant to the team and helping Josh turn into the cyborg superstar he is today. That doesn't happen without veterans like Smoke, Manny & Rock a Bye Beasley. I know the whole covid situation got a little salty, but as a vaccinated person, he had every right to his own decision.

Orlovsky: Bills have become one of best screen teams
LABILLBACKER replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
It has replaced our run game. Dorsey has identified the OL sucks at run blocking so this is the only reasonable outlet to keep pressure off Josh. I can live with it temporarily but we still have to fix the original problem. -
We're not allowed a good weather game. Wind 18mph

How is a new RB going to make a difference behind this OL?
LABILLBACKER replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
The problem with our run game is mediocre running backs and awful run blockers. This isn't a one or the other argument. I think Dorsey realizes this obvious flaw and has cleverly decided to make the dump offs our run attack. It would take time to overhaul both deficiencies. -
Josh Norris highlighting Gabe clearly not 100 percent
LABILLBACKER replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let's not overthink this everyone. This is the correct answer. -
A contract year will usually do that. We can't afford the 14M he'll want. And we absolutely must sign Oliver, Poyer and Gabe. There's going to be a casualty.

The Bills have had a bottom 10 ranked Run blocking OL for 3 years now. Has Kromer had much of an impact? Hard to say. I like the fact that Dorsey has dialed up the dump offs to Devin, etc. But there's going to come a time in a close playoff game where someone other than qb1 is going to have to get you a first on 3rd & 3. Teams will continue blitzing and teeing off on Josh. This is not sustainable, unless you want Josh's career to end in his early 30's.

Brady /Gisellle hire divorce attorneys
LABILLBACKER replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in Off the Wall
I couldn't agree more. I always considered Brady to be smart, but he's being a real dumb ass risking a beautiful rich wife and wonderful kids for his OCD obsession to play football till he's 50 or beyond. Oh well, he chose his ego over his kids. -
The prudent plan is to active him right before the Packers game and slowly ease him in to playing time. Any other strategy would probably carry more risk.

This is going to be a Peterman type slaughter of epic proportions.

WR - Almost as Decimated as Secondary

Shut down Gabe for the next 11 days. Pure rest and ready for KC. -

Now is the time we need Cook to start playing well

Underwhelming....but you're right he needs to step it up. -
Exactly....Josh Allen was destined to turn into a cold blooded cyborg with or without the help of Daboll or Diggs.

Yes JJ is more of a box tackler where Hamlin has better cover skills. With TJ Watt out and Trubisky likely benched for Pickett, the Bills should have their way in this one.

A Few Thoughts About the Ravens Game, in no particular order
LABILLBACKER replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes Prince made the tip/deflection. I lost track at how many tipped balls in that game. I still don't know why Knox froze after Josh's first tip. It was still catchable. -
If I told you... (Injury Reflections)
LABILLBACKER replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall
You know he would've played out of his mind in that game. We'd be 4-0. Gotta get Oliver, Phillips & Tre back first. Shakir can easily fill in for Crowder. Aside from KC and Cinncy, the remaining games do look very winable. -
This nerd is tone deaf.

We should basically call "play action" on every 3rd & 1. Teams are sticking 9 in the box. Our OL sucks run blocking until we start pulling guards like Dabs did late last year.

A Few Thoughts About the Ravens Game, in no particular order
LABILLBACKER replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
There were several tipped balls in that game. Our OL has to do a better job of engaging the Dlineman if they see they're laying back waiting to jump/deflect. Bates made that mistake a couple times. The last 2 turnovers that were immediately converted to tds were OL breakdowns. How are you going to psychologically deal with life when Edmunds is not on this team next year?
