I think the team rallies around Josh today. It may not be pretty and it will probably be tight but somehow they pull it out. -
The expectation is more than on wheel route which sunshynman accurately said would've been a td. My expectation is 8-10 touches.

There's no way I'm paying a coverage linebacker 14-20M. You can find someone on a 5 year rookie deal to backpedal into mid field coverage. I need splash plays for that kinda money.
-
I'm starting to lean that way.
-
God I hope not. If Ike is the benchmark of improving our OL, we're in serious trouble.
-
Hockenson didn't need 2 weeks to learn the playbook. 9 targets, 9 catches, 70 yards. Give Hines the damn ball you puss ies.
-
I would hesitantly keep Oliver over Tremaine, but there's no way I'm paying him 14M. I honestly have no clue what we're going to do with him, Gabe & Poyer??.....Edmunds is as good as gone.

The intelligent plan should be to keep Minnesota guessing right up to game time. Then announce Josh not playing. Give him an additional 7 days of rest and treatment. Hope Keenum/Bass can generate 20 pts. Then ask your defense to "hold the door". Next week we get a 95% Josh and ask Tre to return. That should give them a boost for Cleveland. And because of Garrett, Josh's gameplan will be conservative.

How can Hockenson come in immediately with little knowledge of the playbook and have a huge impact. Yet Nyheim Hines is slowly coddled into the mix. Just so typical of McD.

On to Minnesota (get this game in the rear view mirror!)

We'll know by tomorrow at 4. If Barkley doesn't get activated, Josh is playing. -
Why oh why are we not establishing a running game ?

And for 4+ years Josh has been covering up all the weaknesses and flaws in our OL. This is nothing new. Make Josh Allen account for 95% of the offense. Then McD can use his top 4-5 picks on defensive busts. Brilliant strategy. This team's only hope to win a SB is Josh Allen. How bout we put a better OL around his arse to protect him. And when I say protect him I mean BOTH pass protection and run blocking. Good Lord find OLineman that can do both. -
Spencer Brown full participant

They both suck. Draft a fricking RT in the 1st round Beane. And a LG in the 2nd. -
For the people asking what's taking White so long...

There wasn't any setback. ACL's take a long time to heal. My son at 29 had one and he still felt worried to cut on his knee well after 12 months. They're just being cautious which sucks for us fans as we need him back now. Oh well 2022 will go down as the injury season. -
Since the season is over, what’s everyone doing on Sunday?
LABILLBACKER replied to eball's topic in Off the Wall
Come on eball, you have to ask that question. Of course I'm watching the Cadence Bank Houston Open. Watching guys miss 10 foot putts is much more riveting than watching Case miss 10 yard throws. Thanks Quessenberry -
Why oh why are we not establishing a running game ?
LABILLBACKER replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
We're never winning a SB without a better run attack. Singletary has averaged exactly 50 yards per game in rushing over these last 4 seasons. This year he's only averaging 43 yd/game. Ranks 38th in the NFL. Teams don't even gameplan Singletary anymore. Play action is gone in the Bills playbook. Just simply rush 4-5 and force Josh out of his comfort zone. Maybe you'll eventually hit him and do damage to his throwing arm. Or you hit him on a scramble/designed run and his helmet bounces off the ground like we saw in the Jets game. Anyone who thinks this is sustainable is delusional.
