Around the NFL - Week 10 - Sunday, November 12th
LABILLBACKER replied to RiotAct's topic in The Stadium Wall
Worst 3rd & short call ever. -
Just draft Odunze in the 1st round and close the book on "not so Big Game Gabe".
-
Too late now...he's having another mediocre season...just another bonehead decision by the braintrust...look how good Singletary looks behind a capable OL....thanks McB 🙄

Josh Allen Fined for the Taunting Penalty
LABILLBACKER replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
None....tyreeks little peace sign...none....the NFL is a cartoon league. -
And this fractured relationship between Daboll & McDermott all the more validates what a moron Sean is. He couldn't see the value of running that style to emphasize Josh's skills. Meanwhile he had no problem giving Dabs draft scraps while he encouraged Beane to pick a bunch of defensive duds.

Jason Pierre-Paul Looking to get Back in to Football
LABILLBACKER replied to Fleezoid's topic in The Stadium Wall
A pretty explosive signing? -
....you're right...he strategically waits till the end of the season before he runs him over with the bus. It only took 2-3 years to realize how bad those qbs were. With McDermott, it's like Terry and the fanboys give him a lifetime pass for getting us out of the drought. Terry will have to get slapped in the face a couple more times before he realizes McD's obvious limitations.
-
You absolutely cannot force Josh to be someone he's not. It will prove to be a disaster. Because of his over hyped performance against the Jets, this staff is egregiously trying to over correct. Which in turn screws with Josh's psyche. It can't be anymore obvious. Screw McDermott and his perception of the kind of qb he wants. He doesn't know the first thing about offense. Daboll had it right and that's why they locked horns.
-
I agree. I can tolerate losses to Cincy & Jags but those other 2 were abominations. It's crystal clear that Dorsey is no Dabs and is struggling. McD is way too much in Josh's head. And if we miss the playoffs, that probably losses our home Chiefs game....unbelievable...

Well Gug, you'd be disengaged too if your coaches told you to run 3 different offensive styles at the same time. "We need you to be safe and checkdown more". "We need you to open things up and run more". "And we need you to find a happy medium on top of all this"..... There's no offensive leadership from either Dorsey or McDermott. It's like they're winging it every week. We have no identity as we run this predictable 1 dimensional O. Daboll wouldn't have pulled this stunt.

Bills vs Broncos-Monday Night Football
LABILLBACKER replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
We're watching the last season for Micah. And Poyer won't be far behind. What are we doing wrong with so many defensive injuries this season? Can a elite conditioning staff really minimize this? -
Will we have to replace Dorsey next year?
LABILLBACKER replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
This team has never been more 1 dimensional than it is this year. Josh is asked to run 3 offensive "styles" at the same time. And he's told to do this with a weak OL, no WR2 and zero running game. Yeah, good luck with that. -
No it hasn't been the case because I think the entire offense, especially Diggs & Allen are fed up with McD dicking around with this ridiculous mid season experimentation. The up tempo works dumbass, so let Dorsey (in all his mediocre glory) run it. Give this offense a fighting chance to outscore teams or at least establish a 1st half lead. It's not like this injury riddled D will be shutting people down. These next 2 games will determine Sean's longevity with this team.

Week 10, Broncos v. Bills - Predict the Score
LABILLBACKER replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
28-17 Bills ....McD allows 4 uptempo drives instead of 2. -
Travis Kelce on Josh Allen taunting penalty: "So F---- whack"
LABILLBACKER replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
It just felt early like Kemp had it in for the Bills. The Settle roughing was a joke. The intentional grounding was egregiously bad considering Josh was NOT under duress. Even Collinsworth said as much. We don't have a healthy squad. We gotta get calls or this season will be over real soon. -
McD may be running this defensive show but the same 7-10 yard cushion that Frazier called is being used by McD. Very little has changed except for a slight uptick in blitz %. We need to either return to an aggressive uptempo 11P or just f-ing fire Dorsey. He coordinates about as well as he played qb in the NFL. Our D is devastated with 4 starters out. Yes I'm including Von considering how worthless he's been. If our offense doesn't generate a decent halftime lead, our D doesn't stand a chance.
-
He got whatever he needed for 7 years in failed defensive players. Meanwhile Josh is asked to do it all with 1 offensive weapon. Spare me Andy.....
-
It's well documented Daboll & McD never got along. And if this theory is true, it only further validates why I can't stand McDermott. You have a good OC who mentors & molds Josh from a raw Wyoming qb to a superstar. What makes absolutely no sense to me is if McD wanted more "balance", why did he fail in drafting a better OL over the last 7 years. Our running game had no chance. There's very little innovative about McD, and Dorsey reflects that. Both must go.
-
I'd be ranked 11th too if I had TE's babysitting me all year. He and Morse will be gone next year.

Stuck in the mud = Coaching & Lack of Talent
LABILLBACKER replied to PepeSilvia's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott had 7 years to upgrade this OL. Instead he dicked around with failed Defensive picks. Basically he tells Josh "you'll have no run game or #2 wr and like it. Go out there and do something heroic".
