Trust me McDermott is dead coach walking and he knows it. He played his last scapegoat card this morning. Surprised he didn't fire Smiley too. He's not only lost the locker room but I think the lack of team confidence is astounding. Josh has lost leadership skills. He's pouting more. Players have to cheer him up and not the other way around. Obviously for 6 years McD has forced him to be heroic. And that's where we see all the reckless hero ball. No mentor, no tough boss to get in his face and reel him back in. Even Nick Wright (who I still hate) accurately stated this morning that Josh doesn't know when to "turn off" hero ball. "You don't need hero ball against Mac Jones, Zach Wilson or aging Russell Wilson. He said the Bills should be 8-2. This hero ball persona has been hammered into Josh because of McDermott.

Why didn't Terry see this as a huge red flag? Maybe because Andy hadn't landed Patrick yet. McDermott is an incredibly stubborn and conservative coach. That's why he never got along with Daboll. Diggs was right...Daboll was right....and the insufferable McD fanboys were just too naive to see it.

McDermott has been the problem for years now. And even the Clappy supporters had to get slapped in the face, to see what alot of us saw years ago.

....in other words pretty much what McDermott should've done since 2018. Build a better OL. Establish a running game. Find a real #2 wr and not this joke Davis. Invest & commit to Josh. Not all your incessant failed defensive picks. This team and Josh Allen desperately needs an offensive HC. And they have needed this for awhile. Josh has not been the same since Daboll left. He was that mentor or tough boss willing to get in Josh's face. Now there's no one on this team to fill that role. Go get Ben Johnson or Jim Harbough. Just commit to the offense.

We must have some of the worst conditioning staffs in the NFL. Guys get injured if you breathe on them. Someone is doing something wrong.

Why don't we fire the idiot who hires all these failed coaches (Dennison, Farwell, Frazier, Dorsey). He's the real problem. Always has been. Always will be. Figure it out Terry. McDermott is an embarrassment.

There's very little Josh can do from here on out until this collective clown show is replaced. We've basically wasted the first half of his career.

I would agree. If he wants to have the success of guys like Brady, Manning etc. he needs to put down the wedges a little and focus more on his craft. I'm an avid golfer, so I get the therapeutic nature of golf. But hopefully with a new offensive HC, he'll be inspired to dedicate more time there.

Yeah it doesn't matter anymore. Mcdermott is always out of position as a coach. He's always a few seconds behind in game management. This has gone on since the Houston game. Everyone fell blindly in love with him for the drought end, as they voluntarily chose to ignore glaring flaws in his coaching. I don't mind blitzing but don't give a 8 -10 yard zone cushion. Play man press.

McD coaches in panic mode all the time. He's already lining up how he'll throw Smiley under the bus.

Gailey with Josh, Diggs & Cook would've had a field day. That's all he's good at. The " Reabilitator".....

Guys like Hines, Harty, Sherfield have been worthless. Is Fournette ever going to play?

Beane gets one more year in my book. IMHO Sean McDermott was very influential in those failed defensive picks. Get a offensive HC in here immediately and stress offense in future drafts. Not the ratio McB wanted (60% D).

Because he's the most athletic qb to ever play in Buffalo, but he'll never be a cerebral qb. He's not dumb but he does struggle with field vision. And his reckless DNA will probably never be completely extinguished. Dorsey with horrific playcalling is doing him no favors. But there's plenty of blame that needs to be placed on 17. McD is so wrong for Allen it's really sad.

God if there was ever a game to pound the run attack, it was tonight. All 3 td drives had heavy running. All the other garbage empty drives reeked of Dorsey confused nonsense.

He's a moron. Score too fast...score too slow....run....don't run...experimenting with different styles....why don't we experiment with ending his tenure in Buffalo.

Josh better ask for a competent OFFENSIVE HC who's willing to invest in the offense. McDermott makes me sick to my stomach.

He shouldn't be in there at all. He looks like 30%. Deactivate him for a month because he's a shell of who he once was. We'll be lucky if we get one full healthy season next year before they release him.

Allen peaked with Daboll. Brian could manage Josh's quirks. There's absolutely no mentor or calming influence. Dorsey is a child and McDermott has no clue what to do with Allen. It was always Daboll. Josh needs an offensive HC to salvage his 2nd half of his career. Johnson, Harbaugh, Daboll, Bienemy.....somebody, anybody but McDumbass.

Diggs saw the obvious last year. He desperately tried to show Josh the same thing, but Josh being so damn loyal didn't want to believe it. McDermott has made so many mistakes I've literally lost count. Tonight was identical to 13 seconds. Josh now is making more mistakes and has lost confidence. Players are dropping balls everywhere. Whatcha Goin to do now Sean? Fire Smiley or Dorsey or both? Loser

If he brought in a physical bully style of play, count me in. Our teams are always soft. We play that soft candy a ss zone which McMoron is in love with.

This whole game was the total Billsy experience.

McDermott officially lost the locker room tonight. This team has tolerated his stupid in game mistakes and poor coaching selections for too long. You get Cook right back in there immediately. Look how successful our run game was the few times we opened it up. Dorsey is an idiot BUT McDermott is a moron.
