  1. There's just 4 qbs worth getting excited about. 1. Mahomes 2. Allen 3. Lamar 4. Burrow ....Prescott, Herbert & Hurts have under performed. Aaron has one foot in retirement. And Stafford is not too far behind. Guys like Purdy or Tua are very good game managers but incapable of taking over a game. Stroud is the most promising rookie.
  2. I'm so sick and tired of throwing darts at defensive players while Josh has had scraps as weapons over the last 4-5 years. Now with that said if we can draft a quality wr in the 1st and maybe land a good fa wr (not a Harty/ Sherfield type) then kock yourself out in rounds 2-7 on defense. Maybe Shorter or Hamler stick?
  3. No way I'm pick it up unless he gets 10+ next year. If you want the bag you gotta earn the bag.
  4. I can tolerate Hines as our return man and RB3 but it's gotta come on a lesser cap hit or whatever was negotiated.
  5. I wouldn't exactly say the Dline was our healthiest unit. Our $140M pass rusher played at 70% all season. DQ had just returned from his almost season ending injury. Players like Settle, Joseph, Ford, Phillips and Shaq are so mediocre they might as well be injured.
  6. From here on out the #1 goal is not necessarily the SB but getting that 1 seed and bye. Just know the Bills will have some injuries. Even the home field advantage is no where near as important as getting healthy thru week 18 until the divisions. Your odds of making the SB goes up dramatically by getting the 1 seed.
  7. We handed Mahomes to KC. We handed Jefferson to Minny. We're all about giving.
  8. If I got Bill as HC and Vrabel as my DC, sign me up. I just don't see Vrabel settling for a coordinator job. Still prefer Ben Johnson as HC.
  9. I've revisited this topic for 6 years now since the Houston game. The fake punt on your own 30 was pure stupidity. Just sit Martin down for 1 week and play Haack if you have such little faith in Martin. His historical playoff defenses have been terrible again dating back to giving up 22 2nd half points to Watson. He and his playoff defenses (healthy or not) just have no clue how to stop elite qbs. We stopped Lamar once and that's it. Our 4 DL starters (all healthy) did nothing stopping Pacheco or Pat. Why is Klein on Kelce?? 14 pts right there.
  10. Until Terry or Josh get fed up enough to make a statement or action, this routine with McDermott will continue indefinitely. Josh will ball out and get us in the playoffs. We'll beat some wild card team. Then we'll watch our defense get destroyed in the division round to either Mahomes, Burrow or Lamar. There's literally days when I think Sean not only wants Josh to be Superman on offense but also play every position on defense.
  11. McDermott and his adjustments are always late to the party.
  12. With the hits Josh takes every week, doubtful he plays past 37-38? He's gotta get one in the next 5 years. Maybe the NFL will move the Bills to the NFC?
  13. I will forever remember that insane interception during the Patriots game. Micah and Jordon will truly be missed. Greatest safety duo in Bills history. Thanks for the memories Micah.
  14. Hope so....Sean should be just about done by then.
  15. Well he sure ain't that anymore. You're good until you aren't. And on top of that McD doesn't even trust him anymore outside of 50 yards. That speaks volumes.
  16. I don't care if Diggs talked or not. I think most of the season he was playing injured with foot and abdominal issues. His passion is still there but he is starting to lose a step. Bass kicks the ball wierd. He sets up right behind the ball and less wide. You see most of his kicks slice or fade right. That extension was premature.
  17. The Diggs, Sherfield and Cook drops were brutal but having 5 defensive starters out (yes I'm including Von) was the reason we couldn't get a KC punter on the field. I personally feel when Milano was lost, alot of air came out of that balloon. And other players are just incapable of raising their game to the level of their leader.
  18. We need a better quality field and strength/conditioning staff. You can't completely eliminate injuries but you absolutely can minimize them. Injuries were the #1 reason our season was derailed.
  19. Those goal post flags were straight down. There was no wind. He just pushed that ball right like a golfer with an open faced club. Out of 12 playoff kickers who attempted kicks, Bass was dead last at 40%. What a stupid extension.
  20. The only people who should be ashamed of themselves are Josh's teammates that never step up and make plays like he does every playoffs.
  21. The only way I allow Belichick to take over is he must agree that Beane runs the personnel. Vrabel is getting a HCing job somewhere. Not a Bienemy fan. Henry would be too expensive and too old. Just run with Cook & Johnson and replace Murray/Harris. Definitely need a 1st round wr but wait till the 4th for another. Belichick would not get outcoached by Reid or Taylor. But unfortunately this is all unrealistic because Pegula loves Sean and his losing in the divisionals every year.
  22. Poyer will likely play one last year. Draft a 1st round wr with size and speed. Get a FS in the 2nd round. DT in the 3rd and turn around and draft wr again in the 4th. We're fine at LB, TE and to some degree OL. SIgn Araiza and draft late a better kicker. What ever cap money we have after restructures use on defense.
  23. They absolutely don't have a choice. Gabe is as good as gone. Diggs and his contributions are starting to wane. We have to target 2 wrs in the first 4 rounds. You're not getting more explosive plays with Gabe gone and Stef hitting 30. The time is now. Strike while the iron is hot.
  24. My Bills Fandom was not handed down to me by my family. I grew up and have lived north of LA my whole life. As a kid I loved watching OJ run at SC and vowed to follow whatever team drafts him. Then the journey began and was amplified. Now my 4 grown up kids who do root for the Bills are more worried about my condition after big heartbreaking loses. Thank God I don't see them needing therapy like me after a loss. As Warcodered said you gotta take a breath and let it be authentic.
  25. Josh was patient and took his shots to Sherfield and Diggs. The Sherfield throw obviously was difficult but open and catchable. The throw to Diggs was absolutely perfect. No excuses there. I personally would have liked to see Josh go to Diggs on the 2nd & 9. It definitely would've been a 1st and burned clock. Seeing Shakir open probably got him excited. We can easily run a less turnover centric offense like against KC. And take our shots when safeties pinch. The one worry I have is Cook. Can he be trusted to ever catch a ball and besides the Dallas game, can he be consistent?
