Maybe. The Bills are 5-3, have Josh Allen at QB and have a + 86 point differential. CIN is at home ( usu good for a point and a half ) and are 4-3. They have a point differential of - 13. This line seems about right. Maybe it goes to -2 or something.

Jmo of course , but if a change were made ( it’s a huge if ) I don’t think Beane would be shown the door. I don’t think TPegs does this unless the rest of the season is a complete disaster. I mean , they’re 5-3 and a game back in the division. If they finish under .500 you may see a change.

Bengals have had their struggles too. Perhaps the Bills have been somewhat overrated. Maybe the Bengals were / are too. “ Should “ have lost on a Hail Mary ? Please . Very few of those are caught for a win. Imagine saying the Bills should have won on a Hail Mary. Sounds absurd.

59 ? Their season high was 34 Vs Arizona. More recently 17 vs SEA and 31 vs SF - even there they had 17 thru 3 quarters before Purdy melted down with turnovers in the 4th. They’re looking better than they started off the year but let’s be serious.

They did get Ankou back and I e seen word they have interest in bringing in Suh … we’ll see. Jones also tweeted ? ( X or whatever it is now) that “ I’ll be back” .. maybe he got good news on his injury timetable ? I doubt he tweets that if he’s out until next season

I think it’s undeniable that the Bills defensive floor is lower with their current lineup. That means the offense has to carry the team, and they haven’t been as of late . That’s a serious problem going forward ; one that largely falls on scheme/ coaching imo. We saw improvements vs Tampa when they made a few changes to their approach - at least for 3 quarters. They need to do more of this, not less as the schedule/ competition gets tougher down the stretch.

I’m all for the Bills adding a WR for the stretch run. The D is probably too banged up to carry the team, and besides their best player / side is on offense. They’ll go as far as they will let Allen take them. It does appear that Beane is looking at adding a quality CB. This is a smart move as it wouldn’t just be a rental. They need a starting CB going forward as White can no longer be counted on to return to his pro bowl form. Achilles injuries aren’t easily overcome.

Not many good CB or LB sitting on the couch right now. They’ll have to trade for one of those. Deadline is tomorrow so stay tuned ….

Nope, definitely not saying everyone. There is a very negative segment though, who gloss over the fact that there are no perfect teams out there. Virtually every one of our opponents have their own flaws and warts. On the flip side, you’ll always have your complete homers that see no issues and have overly positive takes . That’s to be expected on a fan message board and we know you can pretty much discount those.

Many of your aforementioned individuals do not watch the rest of the league with quite the same frequency that they do the Bills. Sure , some takes in here are measured and reasonable. Many others are over the top with negativity and expect only perfection. They put other teams and staffs on a pedestal and think they can do no wrong. The truth probably lies somewhere in between. Regardless , my point stands. Most NFL observers do not view the Bills as having zero shot in this upcoming game. If you prefer the sentiment that says otherwise , great . Enjoy!
