  1. Close…the trade partner wasn’t JAX though, it was the Houston Texans. They wanted to draft a CB ( Dunta Robinson) and had a deal worked out and agreed to with Bills GM Tom Donahoe. The move up was reported on ESPN as a “done deal”. Atlanta drafted CB DeAngelo Hall at 8 and the Texans got nervous- they canceled the deal and Big Ben went to the Steelers.
  2. Wouldn’t care at all. This has been done by Bills fans for years. Marino, Brady etc.Maybe even Raiders AFC title game 1990/91. Brady even mentioned it a couple weeks ago. The opposing QB in a noose has been around a long time at Rich/ Ralph/ Highmark.
  3. A healthy roster is huge to be sure, but it’s still more likely that a rematch with KC takes place @ Arrowhead.
  4. Well, the division game you can throw out right off the bat. Those teams play twice every year and know everything about each other. Yeah , I know the Bills and Chiefs have played a lot in recent years but it’s still not the same as a division opponent. Also, any NFL game that is won so handily is almost certain to be much closer in the rematch. There can be gaps in talent, but no team is generally four touchdowns better than the next. As for the Bills / Chiefs contest likely to come in January expect more of the same. A close game where mistakes are magnified and neither team is able to pull too far ahead of the other. Then it comes down to the last 5-10 minutes; who makes the biggest plays in that span, and which QB has the ball with enough time to score while leaving very little time for the other guy.
  5. Sure , but the formula is what it is. What they do have going for them is that both teams are at the top of their respective divisions and are good bet to stay there for the immediate future. That means we will very possibly see the matchup for the next few years with Buffalo hosting consecutive games this time around.
  6. The Bills haven’t been champions of the regular season at all throughout this KC run though. They haven’t had the #1 playoff seed; the Chiefs have several times.
  7. Except the schedule formula is predetermined and set 10 years in advance. Only factor in this matchup outside of the divisional series ( every 4th year) is the final place finish within the respective divisions.
  8. Chiefs fans have 3 SB victories they can revel in. I doubt they’re “ coping” with much if anything.
  9. Looks like 5 slam dunk first ballot types to me. K don’t make the hall too often , but AV is certainly worthy of it.
  10. Not much, really. Just a low key reaction by a tough competitor. Seemed more directed internally than anything- great game and we’ll see you again down the road.
  11. About a dozen times
  12. Cool story… I’m sure there’s a lot of credibility there..
  13. it won’t happen. It’s been brought up many times over the years. Dallas and Detroit agreed to host back when no one wanted it, and are vehemently opposed to ever giving it up.
  14. Did they ever change out that turf at Ford Field ? It’s notoriously bad for injuries and the players hate it .
  15. I don’t think they have a different playoff mindset at all. The Bills are by nature a pretty conservative defense that doesn’t blitz much. In the playoffs you’re playing better QBs, and they tend to be able to deal with the Bills D and its minimal pressure. They need to change this up come playoff time or this lack of pass rush is going to be their Achilles heal yet again. There’s just no way this teams ceiling with Josh Allen at QB should be the divisional round. The Bills should be on their 3rd AFC title game by now.
  16. Geez, if true the Dems should love this. Except the alleged sex wasn’t gay.
  17. Good God she’s a dumba** Judging from the reaction when other D’s have spoken up, some will just go independent or turn Republican.
  18. They should all head to LA, Chicago, or Boston. Let those places deal with ‘em.
  19. Absolutely love this trend. Like the election, it gives me renewed faith in America. The blinders are off, the BS detector is on, and the woke msm is being widely rejected.Celebrating the USA is back.
  20. It would be wild , but possible. More likely the 2 but Pittsburgh has a shot. I think they will beat the Niners, but will lose to Detroit. Possibly to the Rams. They’ll win the remaining AFC games if they need them for positioning.
  21. I think the Bills will lose 2 more games. Just can’t see the Chiefs relinquishing that #1 seed. The Bills will probably be the 2 seed, possibly 3.
  22. Terry Pegula has said all along in this stadium process that he doesn’t want to spend any of his fortune for a stadium. Simply put, that’s what this is about.
  23. Agreed: nothing exposed here that we didn’t already know. In short, they both were who we thought they were. When these two teams meet you expect multiple lead changes , good defense, a couple turnovers and the QB that has the ball last will likely win the game. McD knew kicking a FG to go up 5 while giving the ball back to Mahomes was a recipe for a loss. You may do that with many other QBs, but not him. You have Josh Allen- let him go get a W. I was surprised that wasn’t the gameplan at the end of last years divisional playoff. Thought for sure we’d get some Josh runs with an option to pass. Sean wasn’t making that mistake again.
