  1. True, and the Bills scored what 37 with more left on the field. 9ers D didn’t give up TDs and kept the pedal down all game. That’s the difference
  2. Bills offense easily could have put up 40 + vs PHL. A couple missed FGs and dropped TD. It’s the Defense that threw up on themselves for a quarter and then OT.
  3. In the end, probably true. Still have a shot, but not beating the also-rans put them in bad shape.
  4. They were , but still should have won regardless.
  5. They don’t need a new scheme . Just someone calling the plays that has a feel for when to be aggressive in close games.
  6. Agree that Miller should sit , even if production is the only consideration. The reality is the situation with Araiza couldn’t be more different , though. He was as inconsequential as they come : a punter on a rookie deal who hadn’t played a down in the NFL - on a team that rarely punts.
  7. So it has been done after season 7. Cool, but doesn’t mean much if anything.
  8. Excuses for what ? Not looking a certain way or making the highlight reels often enough? You’re nuts, I simply stated that the Bills offense in recent years was never known for wow catches, just for scoring a lot of TDs. As long as they score often, I don’t care what it looks like.
  9. The lack of W’s this season has brought out all types of highlight envy in Bills fans. Even at their best the past few seasons , I don’t think the Bills offense was known for “ wow catches”. Jump ball type passes aren’t a big part of what the Bills O has been. Anyway , I don’t need the offense to look a certain way as long as they score TD’s. They’ve done more of that lately but still haven’t notched the wins they did in the past.
  10. Threw a nice pass in OT that was going to be a walk off TD- but Gabe cut to the outside instead of in. That’s not on Allen.
  11. Didn’t say they are a bad team, just didn’t see a superior team to ours. PHL was under no immense pressure to win at 9-1. The Bills needed the game more - a lot more. Their coach put them in a position to win after getting outplayed pretty much all afternoon, so a tip of the cap to them.
  12. It certainly would have been called if it was Mahomes. You can bank on that.
  13. The common analysis is that if the WR beats his man cleanly he would break to the inside. This gives the QB more space to put the ball and takes the sideline out of the play. It seems this is why Allen placed the ball where he did , giving Davis room to run under it for an easier catch.
  14. Don’t be so sure McD isn’t shown the door. As has been pointed out, the team is heading into a new stadium with a new ticket pricing structure and PSL’s. McD staying put as HC after a home playoff loss followed by a non playoff campaign isn’t going to help drive sales .
  15. Yup. If the Bills don’t have the ball last or a two score lead in the closing minutes , McDs D loses the game. It’s almost impossible to argue against it at this point. Yes , I think it was 40 mins to 26 or something like that.
  16. Pass. Pegula has had enough legacy hires over the years . There are plenty of other good candidates.
  17. Yep.. no need to take it to the corner. Easy pitch and catch. Back to back 30 point games and this one should probably have been 40. McD can’t shut the door when called upon.
  18. This^ . He can ( eventually) go to a new team or see to it that an offensive HC ( Brady?) leads the Bills. Sean’s coaching just won’t cut it Vs the top teams.
