  1. Agree that Miller should sit , even if production is the only consideration. The reality is the situation with Araiza couldn’t be more different , though. He was as inconsequential as they come : a punter on a rookie deal who hadn’t played a down in the NFL - on a team that rarely punts.
  2. So it has been done after season 7. Cool, but doesn’t mean much if anything.
  3. Excuses for what ? Not looking a certain way or making the highlight reels often enough? You’re nuts, I simply stated that the Bills offense in recent years was never known for wow catches, just for scoring a lot of TDs. As long as they score often, I don’t care what it looks like.
  4. The lack of W’s this season has brought out all types of highlight envy in Bills fans. Even at their best the past few seasons , I don’t think the Bills offense was known for “ wow catches”. Jump ball type passes aren’t a big part of what the Bills O has been. Anyway , I don’t need the offense to look a certain way as long as they score TD’s. They’ve done more of that lately but still haven’t notched the wins they did in the past.
  5. Threw a nice pass in OT that was going to be a walk off TD- but Gabe cut to the outside instead of in. That’s not on Allen.
  6. Didn’t say they are a bad team, just didn’t see a superior team to ours. PHL was under no immense pressure to win at 9-1. The Bills needed the game more - a lot more. Their coach put them in a position to win after getting outplayed pretty much all afternoon, so a tip of the cap to them.
  7. It certainly would have been called if it was Mahomes. You can bank on that.
  8. The common analysis is that if the WR beats his man cleanly he would break to the inside. This gives the QB more space to put the ball and takes the sideline out of the play. It seems this is why Allen placed the ball where he did , giving Davis room to run under it for an easier catch.
  9. Don’t be so sure McD isn’t shown the door. As has been pointed out, the team is heading into a new stadium with a new ticket pricing structure and PSL’s. McD staying put as HC after a home playoff loss followed by a non playoff campaign isn’t going to help drive sales .
  10. Yup. If the Bills don’t have the ball last or a two score lead in the closing minutes , McDs D loses the game. It’s almost impossible to argue against it at this point. Yes , I think it was 40 mins to 26 or something like that.
  11. Pass. Pegula has had enough legacy hires over the years . There are plenty of other good candidates.
  12. Yep.. no need to take it to the corner. Easy pitch and catch. Back to back 30 point games and this one should probably have been 40. McD can’t shut the door when called upon.
  13. This^ . He can ( eventually) go to a new team or see to it that an offensive HC ( Brady?) leads the Bills. Sean’s coaching just won’t cut it Vs the top teams.
  14. I agree , and not in a wishy washy McD kind of way. McDermott should go, but I’m genuinely concerned about Terry’s choice of replacement. Hope it’s an upgrade that can get this team to a Super Bowl. Sean will absolutely waste Josh Allen’s career. He’s too good to not get at least one Lombardi. 15. I don’t think they lost to a better team today; at least that’s not what I saw. I did see them lose to a better coach today, and I credit them for it. The officiating was bad , but that’s to be expected these days.
  16. Knowing how to win is just a cliche being trotted out by NFL announcers with air time to fill. Pretty much meaningless. The bottom line is this : Most NFL games are close. The Bills lose them because their HC is consistently too conservative in crunch time. It’s not about him knowing how to win- it’s about him being too afraid to try. So he makes choices that he thinks won’t lose in the moment. The problem is, it eventually gives the opponent a better chance to defeat you. In the close ones, they usually do. His record speaks for itself.
  17. McD coached soft at the end of regulation and in OT. Might as well have penciled in the L for the Bills. Joe Brady did have the perfect play called in the OT on 3rd and 7. Darned near bailed Sean out. Gabe or Josh didn’t execute. Still, with 20 seconds and timeouts you have to try to win in regulation with a FG. He played for the coin toss. That part panned out , but you knew if they settled for a FG on their first possession they were cooked as soon as McDs D went on the field. Soft coverage on 3rd and 4 pretty much sealed it. Sean has taken this team as far as his style will allow. Time to move on.
  18. I kinda prefer it like this. May be just perception , but the Bills ( and Josh) seem to perform better this way.
  19. If the Eagles had lost in KC, those same people would be saying the Bills are catching them at a bad time.
  20. They say the old rockpile used to have about 2 minutes of hot water for showers then cold the rest of the way. Guys would jog from the field to the showers ‘cause they knew this. Players these days are soft !
  21. Hahahahaha… completely serious. In Philly it ain’t a cheesteak if it doesn’t have cheese whiz.
  22. Arrowhead had a complete renovation a number of years back. Erie County decided against a full renovation of RWS in favor of a partial ( and much less expensive) one in the mid 2010’s. This was simply delaying the inevitable.
