I hope you’re right, but I’m not sure about that. HOU played like a one and done imo. The Chargers were just worse! A good team might have been up 21 -0 against the Texans and won going away. I’d love a Texans win, but I think they have to play a lot cleaner and a lot better than they did Saturday to notch a win at Arrowhead.

Have to look at it with context though. Lower bowl Bills side going for $325 and up ( plus fees so around $500 per)these were around $159 plus for WC. Now that we know it’s a Sunday nite that will put some downward pressure on prices. Nite games are always a tough sell ( people have to work next am , commute to and from game etc). We also know there will not be the relatively mild January weather we had yesterday. Still, they are more expensive but they’re not going to be triple the price or anything.

At first look, tickets for the divisional vs Ravens on secondary sites are ( not surprisingly) much more expensive than WC game. Hopefully Bills fans that held out through first round buy up most of these ducats.

But in this situation it was fine. Guy was yapping all week and got a bit of comeuppance. Didn’t mind it at all given the game situation. Thought it was actually kind of a weak penalty but whatever.

I’d tend to agree, though you’d always have to score more points to win.

1 seed is always going to play Saturday in divisional round. Coming off bye and Championship game is on Sunday. Nothing new here

And Orlovsky said the Broncos weren’t a great matchup for the Bills. Look, the Ravens are a tough out for any team, but they weren’t unbeaten this year. This looks like one where it will be on Josh and the offense to win the game. Defense will just have to limit the damage, they aren’t shutting the Raven’s offense down. Get the win any way you can and move on.

Is there a defense in the playoffs that matches up “ well” with the Ravens ? Probably not imo. Of course you need to play defense and slow them down, but this game will hinge on Josh and the Bills offense. Control the clock with long drives and score TDs, not field goals. Limiting the Ravens possessions will be a key to victory for the Bills.

They were already purchased as “ extra” tix by ST holders in hope of financing a part of their overall purchase. However, many non -ST fans are waiting for the next round to spend their playoff $. That lower demand has led to lower prices, but of course sellers are still trying to recoup some of that money. Many are probably attending the game with their own tix, just selling the additional seats they bought as an investment. Before the opponent was known and date was set, lower bowl seats were listed on resale sites for $500.

I don’t think fans are looking past it, just a lot of economic decisions being made.
