You may have been alluding to something in another thread, but it seems to have eluded this one.

It sounds more like those who voted for Jackson are appalled that many of their peers did not agree with them. Their ensuing histrionics have gotten a response from Bills fans.
-
Spot on, Sir.

What are you doing to get out of this funk?

Is it a “fan’s” mindset though? Or something a bit different. You decide. -
Wow RIP. Wouldn’t have guessed he was only 74.

The Chiefs are always one step ahead of the Bills...

There’s no beauty to it anymore. It distorts historical NFL achievement by giving an advantage that no teams ever had in the past. Sacrificing the reward of the 2 seed; all for greed of adding to a week of barely mediocre playoff games. -

They do have that , but I’m not even sure it’s regular season vs playoffs at this point. The games are very similar. It may be more of 1st matchup vs rematch than when the games are played. Their staff is better, and they’re mostly better at countering what the Bills did well. This shows up in the second game. The Bills - and Joe Brady/ Josh Allen needed to be better on about four or five plays. They simply weren’t. It’s no great mystery , doesn’t require a new team etc. -

I can see that, but I’d bet that when the Bills secure the win it’s directly because of Josh Allen. -

Mix in some Ty Johnson too, and a few carries for Davis. Sometimes Johnson seems to get the tougher yards. Fwiw though, those were pretty much all home games. Not saying the Chiefs don’t get favorable calls, but a lot more procedure type penalties for visitors vs home. -

I think you’re right on the L. Smith injury, and I believe it occurred in that AFCC game vs Broncos. He may have missed the Super Bowl a couple weeks later. A staph infection maybe? Anyway, he used to go around the perimeter of the field whipping the crowd into a frenzy and I remember him doing that for the AFCCG. Don’t recall if Jones started the SB or not. -

Pretty sure it was Leonard Smith and Mark Kelso holding down the Safety spots that day. -
Didn’t say it was mediocre. Look, you don’t usually get fired when your season or performance meets or exceed expectations.

The Chiefs played a lot of games vs competition that was lesser than the Bills. -
The expectations of having a good offense. Not necessarily of failing to reach the title game.
-
Yup. And a season that falls short of expectations usually means offering up a coordinator as sacrifice.
-
He’ll have to.

KC has played one meaningful game since Christmas and the previous one wasn’t particularly tough. Is what it is - that’s a huge benefit of the top seed. Bills are in good shape though. Of course he will be targeted - it’s the NFL.
-
Maybe even more than that. We’ll see what the situation brings !
-
I think they were responding to the spelling ? It’s Micah I believe
-
yeah, I’d prefer that he was activated , and most Bills fans would probably agree. I like our chances just somewhat less with this development. May need Josh to put the cape on several times in this one .
-
McD has already said Hyde will not play. Gunny Highway !
-
Sure, simple. Just go win the Super Bowl, easy cheesey.

Is the ball control offensive approach mostly to protect the defense?
Boatdrinks replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
You need to be able to devise / execute a game plan that’s right for the opponent and the environment the game is being played in. The adaptability is just good coaching. I’d expect this game will look a good deal different than vs Ravens. The Bills will have a good plan that will enable them to achieve victory. -
I’m very happy with how far we made it.

Going into this season with all the changes considered, I thought they were capable of maybe 10 wins. Thats if everything went well and because they have Josh Allen. Still, since 2020 I have to consider anything short of an AFC title game appearance a failure of some measure. That could mean front office, coaching, players etc. Well, they have achieved that, and at a level of performance that I just didn’t think was possible this year. I believe they are capable of winning it all ; this team has something special about it. So I don’t want to wrap up my overall feelings on the season and put a bow on it just yet. The football left to be played is too exciting for that. -

I’d guess that they feel like they’ve faced them 10 times and won half of them. For many of these players it’s 3 of the last 4.
