More like the Democrats are using snap recipients as pawns by refusing to open the government. All in order to maintain healthcare coverage for illegals they let in by the millions while not securing America’s border. It remains a Nation that was founded by Christians. You are , however free to be Muslim etc

OMG ! You mean the White House has luxury appointments? All while Obamacare continues to drive up Healthcare costs at unsustainable rates? You’d almost think the program was a predictable failure !

Taxpayer money can’t support everything for everyone. Nor should it. Of course , you probably think shoplifting less than $1k is fine, and misdemeanors shouldn’t be prosecuted. Never air the family dirty laundry.

Nah, Saturdays are always too busy at the grocery stores. So dumb. Solves nothing, and they’re right back at square one when it runs out. But hey, you can always get a pet liberal judge to do what you want in the northeast.

Game week thread - Chiefs at Bills (Video preview on pg. 19)

They do have a shot at it. They look like a slightly above average team to me, might be capable of winning a playoff game if everything goes right for them. -

If not the 1, it doesn’t matter. The Bills have been everything but, and still to no avail. Another AFCE title is meaningless at this point in JA’s career. It’s doubtful they were going to end up the 1 seed anyway, even with all the preseason speculation. It will probably be the Chiefs or possibly the Colts in the coveted slot for the post season. -
Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?
Boatdrinks replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Trouble is most of our mid WR’s are injured and unavailable. Mid is overrating the ones on the field. Meyers is at least an NFL WR. That’s where we’re currently at with this group. A true WR1 is likely not available. -

Or the time honored “ illegal contact” foul on 3rd and 10plus. A nice cheap first down to keep things moving in the right direction. -
Let’s not forget how SNAP usage went from around 20 million users pre Obama , then exploded to the current 44 million users after Obama eliminated the work requirements. Thats an eye opener for sure. Why? They’ve moved on from repeal and replace. It’s better to let the thing crash and burn on its own as was predicted at the time. If the expiration date of the ACA subsidies was so critical to Dems, why didn’t they take care of it themselves during the Biden era ? It seems they could have done this without a single Republican vote.

Kansas City.... Who/What do you despise the most?
Boatdrinks replied to henry jones's topic in The Stadium Wall
I despise them all equally -
Championship !

Maybe … Diggs may have also had a say in his destination due to contract language. Pretty sure he lives in Texas or did at the time of trade.

They played the Texans once in the playoffs in 2019. The Bills third round pick was also at the bottom of the round. Good enough to beat out the Chiefs , Eagles, if they offered a 3rd but not anyone else. Would need a 2nd rounder then. Any thought of a Pickens trade to the Bills for a 3rd is pure fantasy
-
Draft pick trade. Not saying I agree with the strategy but it’s certainly not unheard of. Teams very rarely trade a player to a conference rival. Bledsoe, Flacco are among rare examples. Do you think the Bills would have traded say, Diggs to the Chiefs ?
-
This was never going to happen. Why would they trade Pickens to the AFC Bills? The Bills also had pick 31 in the round.

I disagree. The difference between KC and the Bills today ( besides the coaching staff) is just better players. In the recent past that wasn’t the case, but a few seasons of sub par draft results and players aging out has gotten them to this point. The Bills have Allen and Cook plus a good OL. Not much else. The defense is probably the worst version of itself since Allen became a top QB. Allen himself hasn’t been playing well. -

Probably need these things to happen for the Bills to get a win here. Let’s also not forget their latest issue - penalties. Any infractions will be magnified vs KC as the Chiefs will not have any penalties of consequence called against them. -
Sure. I am afraid of any team that can pass the football well. The Bills can’t stop it consistently, and they don’t have a serious passing game of their own.

Odds are against it. A win will just be one that was expected before the season started. Anything less than a complete Bills blowout victory and it will be doom and gloom heading home to face the Chiefs. -
Forcing Turnovers is the missing ingredient in this Defense
Boatdrinks replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Punching at footballs is a fine approach to a turnover seeking defense ( along with sound tackling of course). What isn’t sustainable with turnovers is the fair amount of luck involved recovering them. The ball takes funny bounces, and even when doing the correct thing -(ie falling on the ball vs trying to pick it up) it still goes the other way sometimes. This has happened many times already this year. INTs have been dropped. The opportunities have been there, and they usually are. The luck just dries up at times. -
Thats the NFL for you.. never can predict exactly how things will play out. Each season is really its own story, and predictions based on last year are far from guaranteed. Allen repeating as league MVP doesn’t look promising, and the Bills offense as expected has regressed. As expected the main issue is likely the defense. Their performance is likely key to a turnaround or a downfall in 2025.

They’re shattered! Shadooby….
