Defense was okay, not great. Gave up around the Pats average ppg this season. Offensively the Bills were just plain bad. Definitely an L you can place at the feet of the offense.

The Bills were not going undefeated this season. They will lose “ winnable” games as they’re all winnable. There are no perfect teams, as we’ve seen so far this season.

Yep. If Hoculi is assigned the Bills game , you know that’s one battle you will lose. Better make it up with takeaways, no giveaways, run the ball effectively etc.

It’s a long season. The Bills were ( and are) going to lose games, and you’re not going to lead the AFC start to finish. The Bills were exactly what they’ve been, just with more critical penalties and some turnovers thrown in. That equals a 3 point division loss.

You know what you’re getting with Hochuli , and it isn’t good. The Bills gave this game away ,which they usually don’t do. I figured it would be about a 6 point or less game with the Bills winning. The offense threw up on themselves too many times to achieve victory.

Yeah kind of. Only watched about 3 minutes of the game live, so didn’t really root for anyone. Totally get it for folks that did though.

Never liked ‘em. Rooted for them a couple times- both in SB’s vs Brady.

I think you’re onto something here. The suspended players will be back on the roster soon. They’re trying to hang onto their guys vs making cuts. Tough choices I’m sure , but better than releasing a guy you think may get picked up.

Yeah, for those thinking of the mythical “trap game” this by definition can’t be one. The trap game is vs a non division opponent, if one believes in such things.

Oh, this won’t be any great defense . You can bet on that. Still, don’t you always need to outscore your opponent to win ?

I disagree. It usually takes a fair bit of luck to win the SB. While only a few teams really have a chance to win it in any given season, they certainly don’t all beat 3 great teams en route to hoisting the Lombardi. . Things often fall into place favorably for many of those SB winners.

If using last years final ranking then yes, that makes sense. I took the question to mean will it improve from the first games or “ now” through the end of this season. The question wasn’t asked in say, June. I’m not even sure where the Bills defense stands now as far as rankings go, but it’s safe to say most fans have concerns. I think this is more than just about defensive rankings anyway. The Bills defense has failed in the playoffs even when they were highly ranked statistically.

I think the Bills defense will improve as the season progresses. I don’t believe it will finish as a top 10 unit or anything but there will be significant improvement.

After 3 games our kick coverage looks pretty bad. Gave Miami a great start to last nights game. Hopefully they can figure this thing out quickly.

The season is a marathon, not a sprint. They’re managing Josh’s exposure somewhat too. Didn’t need to take unnecessary risks vs this opponent.

Really good game plan by McD vs Fields led Jets. Not much from Josh, but not a lot required. Notch the division W and move on.

Perhaps it will turn out to be a mistake- he didn’t do it to get fewer carries though. He may think too highly of his own abilities.

I’m not shocked he dropped weight. He wants to get paid in a couple years. Not going to get that much interest as a one trick role player.

No team has yet won a playoff game for the 2025 season. The Bills and others won playoff games in 2025 -just 3 weeks before the Super Bowl. Whoever made the chart is simply wrong.
