It’s crazy the AFC has Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, & Herbert, plus strictly talent-wise Watson, not to mention possibly adding Wilson and/or Rodgers if they end up on the move.

I think we’re at the very least nearing the discussion of Diggs Davis being 1A and 1B not just 1 and 2. For whatever that distinction is worth.

I was thinking… why rush anyone? Give him all the time in the world and just don’t give up 40-45 yards. Almost as heinous is not having someone bumping Hill & Kelce and/or one of them doubled.

1) Why not squib it? 2) Why not drop 11 defenders back w/ :13 left? 3) How can Hill & Kelce be so free off the line at the end? 4) Where were Diggs & Knox? Other than those questions, I cannot help but be optimistic about this team. Gut punch loss that sucks. No two ways about it. But we have not only a franchise QB - we have easily a top 2-5 QB in the league. Stacked young roster. Amazing organization. Nothing stopping the Buffalo Bills from being Super Bowl contenders the next 10+ years. Next season the AFC goes through Buffalo.

Collinsworth is by far the worst and most intolerable NFL announcer.

I think feeling threatened and being aware of the history are two separate things. McBeane, Josh, & Co. understand Buffalo and are definitely aware of the history so I would bet the importance to the fan base fueled them at least in part, but I don’t get the sense they are threatened.
