  1. Wish we had used Breida like McKinnon
  2. We need a twitchy explosive WR like Tyreek. ”¡nO oNe Is LiKe TyReEk!” I know, but that should be the goal.
  3. Tough to do that when someone is hugging your arm, but yeah it would have taken advantage of his positioning better if he could have.
  4. Ah did not know that, thanks. To my u trained eye, it seemed we struggled with punting and returning. Kick/punt coverage seemed decent though.
  5. Patterson will be 1 year older than Beasley was and I think had a better season the year before becoming an UFA, but you make a fair point.
  6. I wish we’d get him if that’s the case. Our ST this year left a lot to be desired.
  7. Yeah I’m sure it’s tough to project it super accurately. Still, even lower at $7M per year I think there is better value given his age and “breakout” during a contract year. Paying significant money to aging vets just isn’t the Beane way.
  8. I haven’t a clue, but I trust Spotrac and they project him getting a 2 year deal averaging a little over $9M per. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/atlanta-falcons/cordarrelle-patterson-12309/market-value/
  9. DJ is pretty much JA Lite so it’s possible.
  10. Unfortunately I do not think the combination of his age and projected payout is what Beane is looking for.
  11. Anyone else still find a little bit of happiness in regularly having to scroll so far down to the Bills pick in mock drafts? Jameson is always the right choice.
  12. I wasn’t envisioning it as forcing. I think he wants to be able to do what Brady and Manning did. If he were completely unprepared that’s fine and maybe that’s true, but that seems like the next step in his evolution at QB.
  13. Why? Our run game struggled hard most of the season. I’m not saying Allen should be the passing game coordinator. But the next step is towards Manning and Brady’s ability to process things lightning quick and make checks at the line. Allen being able to handle more play-calling responsibilities is a good thing.
  14. Dude could have paralyzed Tre.
  15. Do we know for sure Dorsey is Daboll’s top target or even a target at all?
  16. If not Dorsey then how about let Allen have more responsibilities with the pass game and get an OC who historically gameplans successful rushing attacks?
  17. Tough to say w/o knowing his contract here. Purely value-wise, I think 25th overall and a 4th is fair, especially when compared what we gave up for Diggs (1st, 5th, 6th, & 4th the next year), but it’s close. I’d feel better w/ just 25th overall. Wonder if any of our players could sent to SEA in such a trade…
  18. Point taken, but I’ll echo that even Goodwin has made a decent NFL career w/ his skill set.
  19. I know little about him, but I’ll echo that Davenport the FA from NO piqued my interest when reviewing Spotrac’s list of DEs set to become FAs next year especially with Payton leaving. He a system fit / process guy? No to Barkley unless it’s for a late pick or cheaper. Even our hallowed sports science department and cutting squats from his workout regimen may not be enough to rebuild him.
  20. Crazy his shirt has wrinkles everywhere but the logo!
  21. Any hope based on Eberflus’ defensive scheme that Mack might not fit and be a trade block candidate?
  22. 1 win 2 the 3 dang 4 super 5 bowl But really: 1 replacing OC / DC / STC 2 premier pass rusher 3 interior OL 4 db depth 5 weapons for Allen
  23. Don’t you have to be a FA to get tagged?
  24. Was gonna say this, but you already said it. So… this.
