  1. Ok but you ignored the part I put in bold where you say Allen’s only trait better than Burrow is his rushing, which also implies both can throw it a mile. Not even really arguing with your point (to me they are both elite passers so Allen’s running ability makes him an overall slightly bigger threat at QB), just pointing out what you’re saying has been self-contradictory.
  2. 22 hours ago in this thread you said, and I quote (because I have permission to feel free to do so): “I think Josh is an awesome player and would never say he is overrated even tho his only trait that he has over Burrow is rushing (he can throw it a mile).” The logic of that quote implies Allen’s arm and passing ability are equal to or below that of Burrow.
  3. Yep. If you blitz him, then you better hope it’s a play action or deep drop back where someone gets home before he’s had the chance to look downfield or someone gets a hand up.
  4. Haven’t read the 6 pages, but if there’s a side that draws a distinction between respect and acknowledgment of talent, then I’m on it. Former, no. Latter, yes.
  5. Jooooooooe Brady come on down! You are the next contestant on the BILLS! O! C!
  6. I realize Hackett was just a HC, but kind of crazy he’s still in the mix for OC jobs when Marrone is coaching OL in NO.
  7. Never goes well when you put more judgment calls in human refs’ hands. I like the shot clock idea. It’s fair. Side note I traveled to New Zealand and was told that is how the speed limit works there. No leeway. Almost like it’s a law.
  8. Your post before this you said Burrow is just a good a passer as Allen and can “throw it a mile”. Gotta pick one there ol’ Caesar ol’ buddy ol’ pal.
  9. - Allen is an ultra-aggressive dual-threat QB with a shoddy offensive line. He is going to turn the ball over. Lawrence threw 4 first-half INTs and JAX survived. - Really hope we run, run, and run some more. Cook, Singletary, and Hines. Allen on designs, RPOs, and scrambles. Diggs, Shakir, and possibly McKenzie on sweeps. I saw someone posted BAL ran at Hendrickson so effectively CIN had to reserve him for passing downs. Do that. I am absolutely OK with a win including Allen's stat line at 15/21 for 208 and 1 TD. - I hope OBD contacted the NFL about the 5-10 delay of games that went uncalled against MIA. I also hope McDermott brings that up to this week's officials before the game kicks off. - While I agree our heavy draft investment into the defensive line must carry its weight, I think it will be maybe more important that White, Johnson, and Elam have incredible games matching up man-to-man and jamming CIN's big 3 WRs. We spend all game in zone and Burrow will shred us. - When everyone zigs, zag. I'm calling a game with no more than 45 total points. - Personally, I am assuming CIN's offensive line is fully healthy until I see an inactive list stating otherwise. - Allen and Burrow are basically equal passers. Allen is by far the better runner. I think that makes him the better overall QB. - Hendrickson was not trying to help Allen with his shoelaces. Hurst was not trying to give Johnson a neck massage. I love the BUF-CIN relationship what with Dalton/Boyd/Drought and the overall great way their organization gave support through the Hamlin incident. But let's not kid ourselves, regardless of religious affiliation these guys are going to try to cheap shot and injure our most important starters. That should be the topic of conversation with the refs before McDermott brings up the delay of game or any other issue pre-game. The players need to keep aware of this as much as possible while still playing loose. - "Who Dey?" is stupid and even if it came first, which I doubt, "Who Dat?" is better. - There's only one matchup I can think of that is more exciting with juicier storylines than BUF vs. CIN, and that's BUF vs. KC. Buffalo-based wig, hair dye, alcohol, marijuana, and stress ball companies should have a banner quarter. - LETS GO BUFFALO!!! Strangle the Bengals!!! GO BILLS!!!
  10. I just don’t see him being more cost effective than Morris.
  11. I should not have a pit in my stomach in those situations. Having Miller would really help. Maybe start making Milano a “D-lineman” for pass rush situations given how well he’s been blitzing. I’d be interesting in that stat too.
  12. Nope not all 3rd downs, all 3rd and longs
  13. Hines scored 2 KRs but has also been borderline reckless with some of his ST fielding
  14. Has to be at least the 5th delay of game non call in favor of Miami
  15. You can see the moment Tre is like “oh $#!+!” and just lowers his head for a few strides to catch up
  16. This reminds me of eBay’s early days when popular items for sale included air guitars and “Play Station 2 Box!”
  17. C’mon now, let’s break their will to play football!
  18. Any fine for the CPR Steelers celebration?
  19. I’d use that many bath bombs if I were so ancient, too.
  20. Anyone have suggestions for the name of the fictional prescription medication that would be used to treat BBFS?
  21. Ya but I think they gauge healing time by days not practices
  22. A week of recovery is not that fine a line. Absurd example, but one week for Hamlin went from dead on the field to jumping up and down in an ICU.
  23. The image of Von Miller knocking the teal off Brady*’s jersey makes me happy
