Saffold we knew in the off-season to be a poor pass blocker, but Brown having the highest RAS in the history of OTs and consistently being taken to school on speed rushes does not jive with logic. Must it be his back injury lingering?
Given his hurdle ability, the fact he is still a growing boy, and the public awareness of the NFL concussion issues…
we don’t want him hitting his head on the ceiling now do we?
Would love to see him back, but we know this regime seems to allow players more time to recover than usual. Then again who knows how much they might bend their philosophy for the AFCCG or Super Bowl?
I couldn’t tell you a single HB in the draft. I do think there is a decent chance we just bring Singletary back because of how loaded this year’s FA class is at the position.
Ya I didn’t mean the Bills need to find a Derrick Henry, just the profile typically associated with bellcow backs (which is guys who typically have some size and power) is what I think they’d target. A Zach Moss replacement.
If we can’t bring Singletary back to retain our current backfield, then I think a bruiser power back type addition is very likely. Neither Cook nor Hines have the frame to be a 3 down bellcow type back.
Not often in favor of cutting a player for one bad play or to send a message, but he’s already a roster bubble guy and that play could have gotten us swept by the Tuaphins. Inexcusable.
I remember in high school our freshman QB who instantly started varsity showed up first day looking like a 33 year old construction worker. Some people just develop more quickly.
Ever see the Robin Williams movie Jack?
