  1. pry amazing how the argument has boiled down to 'well we don't need Hopkins because everyone is going to die anyway'
  2. Still one of the premier teams in the NFL unsure whether that will translate into a Super Bowl as currently constructed
  3. That is interesting...I thought he had an agent
  4. It has to be at least a little concerning that over 20% of that production came in one game
  5. Chiefs can't afford to lose Jones imo
  6. Wouldn't signing Hopkins be spreading out that risk? I think doubling the risk is continuing to rely almost exclusively on Diggs
  7. ^^he might have the elite level coaching chops and just needs time to get there. The real issue is that he's unlikely to get a QB like Allen again and there's no percentage in wasting his career in hopes the coach figures it out eventually. In that regard Reid was lucky to have cut his teeth w McNabb and Smith.
  8. I'm not sure people understand how good this guy is
  9. He was Tyrod before Tyrod was Tyrod
  10. Doing all that w Alex Smith I'd call that pretty impressive
  11. Maybe teams knew he'd be available eventually
  12. The NFL talent evaluations lol he's been a free agent for what all of 2 days
  13. When the season came to an end neither the Bills nor the Cardinals were the team to beat
  14. Davis wasn't ready to handle CB1s, may never be tbh Hopkins has been dominating them his entire career
  15. I would love to be optimistic but I don't see it rn I see a thin, aging and increasingly injury prone roster in a tough division. Coming up smaller and smaller in the postseason does not scream SB here we come to me, but we can blame injuries and freak coaching decisions and whatever else makes us feel better while KC keeps reeling off championships and the Bengals make it back to back AFCCGs with a Super Bowl appearance to boot.
  16. It's interesting that you feel the SB is still so close Imo with every passing year it feels further away and unfortunately I think this season is going to bear that out
  17. I do think it's funny how everyone looks at it from Reid's side and not the Eagles'
  18. Actually he did it immediately after he got a top QB
  19. I am talking about the Eagles because it's a relevant example to the topic of discussion. I think it's likely Sean McDermott has Mark Jackson syndrome, the perfect guy for rebuilding a decrepit franchise and then turning it over to someone who can finish the job and maximize the potential of one of the premier talents in the game.
  20. So the Eagles firing a Super Bowl winning coach and then three years later being right back in the championship is a fairy tale in your mind. That didn't actually happen.
  21. I mean it's the topic of discussion.
  22. Neither do I. But I also think it's a conversation worth having.
  23. He wasn't trying to get him going, he was throwing a tantrum. It was reported Allen had missed a throw he'd been struggling with in practice leading up to Bengals game and Diggs was in his face yelling 'what's your excuse now Josh?'
