  1. It's the way they do things and I agree w you, I think it's just as risky cap management giving the Ed Olivers and Taron Johnsons of the world good deals as it is taking big swings on DeAndre Hopkins etc I mean it's commendable they have a system that can utilize guys without elite pro traits but you end up w a ton of capital that isn't valuable anywhere outside Buffalo
  2. This is pretty in keeping w the FO philosophy of extending good scheme fits/process guys who probably have more value here than to other teams because they lack elite NFL traits The way the league is trending it seems like an outdated approach imo
  3. Cause offense dollars are more valuable probably
  4. Think he overrated the defense some but overall fair, Bills roster I wouldn't necessarily put top5 in the league but close enough
  5. first rep was bad second was ok and third was actually a W imo, understands the front is going to leave his man 1v1, moves him to outside leverage and engages long enough to get the throw off...just couldn't seal him off on the anchor due to bad footing
  6. This For a little speedy type the guy was just clumsy af
  7. Good info I still want Hopkins but this helps in context Only thing I would add is that if he actually had been traded his comps would look a lot better
  8. I'm almost positive the Chiefs squibbed the last kickoff vs Eagles in the Super Bowl and a couple seconds ran off the clock before the guy fell on it
  9. pretty sure the clock starts as soon as the ball hits the ground
  10. he should get some looks imo solid coach for a team going that route
  11. pry amazing how the argument has boiled down to 'well we don't need Hopkins because everyone is going to die anyway'
  12. Still one of the premier teams in the NFL unsure whether that will translate into a Super Bowl as currently constructed
  13. That is interesting...I thought he had an agent
  14. It has to be at least a little concerning that over 20% of that production came in one game
  15. Chiefs can't afford to lose Jones imo
  16. Wouldn't signing Hopkins be spreading out that risk? I think doubling the risk is continuing to rely almost exclusively on Diggs
  17. ^^he might have the elite level coaching chops and just needs time to get there. The real issue is that he's unlikely to get a QB like Allen again and there's no percentage in wasting his career in hopes the coach figures it out eventually. In that regard Reid was lucky to have cut his teeth w McNabb and Smith.
  18. I'm not sure people understand how good this guy is
  19. He was Tyrod before Tyrod was Tyrod
  20. Doing all that w Alex Smith I'd call that pretty impressive
  21. Maybe teams knew he'd be available eventually
  22. The NFL talent evaluations lol he's been a free agent for what all of 2 days
  23. When the season came to an end neither the Bills nor the Cardinals were the team to beat
  24. Davis wasn't ready to handle CB1s, may never be tbh Hopkins has been dominating them his entire career
  25. I would love to be optimistic but I don't see it rn I see a thin, aging and increasingly injury prone roster in a tough division. Coming up smaller and smaller in the postseason does not scream SB here we come to me, but we can blame injuries and freak coaching decisions and whatever else makes us feel better while KC keeps reeling off championships and the Bengals make it back to back AFCCGs with a Super Bowl appearance to boot.
