One could also ask whether pressures per snap is a good way of evaluating a rotational 3tech as opposed to his peers who are playing significantly more snaps, presumably vs the run as well as passing downs It seems more like a statistic for an argument than anything to me. You'd expect the guy with fewer snaps to be able to get to the QB at a higher frequency from the 3tech spot

I was being facetious And I agree 100% that second contracts like this to guys like Oliver is definitely a glass half full move but at the end of the day you're still drinking water watching the other guys pouring out champagne

Not to be argumentative but the difference in satisfaction between 20th and second vs 2nd and 1st is something I would like to be able to quantify firsthand at some point And that Oliver improves into a bona fide top10 DE is just an inevitably right

He's better than that imo, he flashes I just think he's the perfect kind of guy to get one last good year out of and draft his replacement. He doesn't have any pro traits that necessitate using a high pick...handing those kind of guys second deals is a mistake to me

He got left 1v1 a couple times early and lost contain in pass rush iirc When doubled he got moved pretty easily for some big Mixon runs, I mean w a backup online they rushed for 170.
